However, I need to fight hard and make my dream come true to build my career and one day maybe start a family since my biological clock is ticking. Gosh, I get scared reading about having kids after 35 and all.. Everyone tells me to hurry up and find someone to get married or else I will not be able to have kids. My mom gets mad hearing all that since she does not believe in that. She had me, my 6th and younger brother after 35.

My family and relatives are always in my face about career and getting married and having kids. Life at 30 can be ok but can also be really depressing and annoying depending on where you are in life....If you are happily married and have a good job/career then life is pretty good. BUT, if you don't then life is really depressing and you wonder you will be....
Forgive me for saying so, but I was always under the impression that you were a teenager. This is not due to any opinions or remarks that you have made in any way! Rather because your name reminds me of the Yellow Ranger from Power Rangers. Anyone else remember the Asian one from when the series was FIRST imported to America? How ironic that she was the Yellow Ranger, why not the Pink Ranger?
    I like me.

Yes, I remember Trinie - not sure if it's just a coincidence that she was the yellow ranger. I heard the actress who played her died in a car accident at a young age - quite sad.

I have no idea what it's like to be 30 or over, though I suspect it's not that different from being 20-something. Forty and 50+ seem to be bigger milestones.

the first strand of white hair came up for me when i was ten. so getting two strands of it at 30 dont sound too bad.

now i dont get 'white hair', my hair is perpetually dyed to a shade of cinammon.l

(yeah not green, unlike my avatar picture)

I am totally disagree with this statement. I believe till 29 , it is our Carrier age then only our colorful age begins. After 30, a little relief is takes place. That period of life is very enjoying.

I have several years to go before I can answer this. I do feel like it's sneaking up on me really quickly though. It's frightening thinking about the future.

It's such a pity Trinie died so young. She was one of the first Vietnamese (if not the only) star in a major TV show.

Hmmm....30.............if I already feel old at my current age, I can't imagine how I'll feel at 30. It's definitely different for guys and girls. That's when guys really see their career take off, while that's when girls start going downhill, with our biological clocks ticking away.

Trini is my favourite yellow ranger as well. The actress, Thuy Trang, looks very sweet and beautiful. Sadly, she departed from the world at the age of 27. There were indeed some small talks going around about the black ranger = African Amer. guy, yellow ranger = Vietnamese Amer. girl. However, in the unaired pilot episode of MMPR, the yellow ranger is a Filipino Amer, namely Audri Dubois. Likely due to the reasons that the yellow ranger is scripted the name, Trini Kwan, that probably explains why they got Thuy Trang (whom I had mistaken for her Trish Thuy Trang ) in place.

Audri Dubois is a martial artist, and she looked like a tomboy with strong physical cut. Try to google up in Youtube for "pilot episode" of MMPR.

I guess thereafter, with the intention to overturn the small talks, the producing team swopped the Black and Yellow by having Black = Korean vs Yellow = African. I always prefer the original cast (season 1) of MMPR because of the chemistry the actors and actresses had with each other.

The original Power Rangers was by far my favourite kids tv show of all time. Lol i liked the blue ranger (Billy) . I was a massive fan and seen almost all of the original eps. But that was like 12yrs ago.

If you're 26, are you considered to be in your mid 20's or late 20's?

My 30's have been better than my 20's so far. Staying in good physical shape. Looking young for my age (most people think I am in my mid to late 20's), and have better endurance than most people in their 20's, evident at sports.

Trying to enjoy life now before marriage and the slide downhill from there.
What are you fighting for? Just mix them into pissing beef balls, stupid.

30 is just another number, nothing special about it.

I heard that saying too. I also agree that men and women have different biological clocks. However, one should not feel old. I think its just what we are doing with our life. Its a good time to travel and explore the world. But I think as we age, we have to become more aware of what we are eating and taking good care of our health.
