Fan Bing Bing...what you think of her?

I now some people say she is so fake. Her looks are really fake as well as her series. Some of her pica definatelt freak me and some of them look like ghosts or something! I was her fans for a while just because I thought she was pretty. Then I got little sick of her eversince I watched Chinese Paladin3 and became a fans of Tang Yan. Anyways, how do your guys rate her and think of her? Please let me know.........

Can't be the judge of her talent, because I've never seen her in anything, but I dig her looks. Not your typical "natural prettiness" and she definitely can look rather fake but I still find her very beautiful.

But the movies that she's in is HK. I'm referring to the Legendary Siblings series, Twins Effect II movie etc. I hated her in all of them, and the movie/series also sucked. There's a correlation. I didn't even get past the start of A Chinese Tall Story, it was unbearable.

But I guess my disdain can also be extended to most chinese series and movies these days. The state of chinese series and movies sucks, and she is part of the problem.

Her acting is okay. There are better actresses out there though.

Just to set the facts straight, the majority of her projects are not Hong Kong ones (The Proud Twins is actually a joint production, something we're seeing more and more of). It just so happens that you seem to have seen most of her HK endeavors and apparently don't watch many mainland dramas or films.

I'm not a fan of hers, but I do think she's attractive - much more so than Vicky Zhao.

I dont really like her but i do have to admit that she's a talented actress. She has been doing this her whole life so she's bound to be good at it. Her and vicky both went to school for acting right? Beauty is in the beholder of the eye. I find Vicky cuter. FBB more of a dark beauty. She kind of have gothic/sexy look with her hair and face.

Most of her photoshoots are too photoshopped, it tends to look scary. The natural ones are good.

in my opinion Vicky is less cuter, hehe, because you can baraley see her makeup on her face. She where either no makeup or very natural, plan, light, and little makeup. I admit Fan Bing Bing's pretty is not her natural look and just comes from her putting a bunch of makeup on her face. Yeah, Vicki is more natural, but Fan Bing Bing is more pretty, in my opinion, even is her looks are fake, hehe...but thats just what I think about her...

Lady Zhuge is right... most of her series are joint productions, which is quite common these days as you see wuxia series being produced by different companies from taiwan, mainland and hk, with actors and actresses also coming from these 3 regions mixed together. And besides appearing in HK movies, she has also appeared in some joint production movies like Sophie's Revenge together with Zhang Ziyi and mainland films as well like Wheat, Lost in Beijing to name a few.

Anyway, I am a HUGE fan of FBB, so I might be a bit biased when I say that I think she's very beautiful and talented, seeing as I try to watch all of her series and movies.

I actually feel she has more talents than looks. Most people say she's very beautiful naturally. My mum thinks so too, but I always thought there's something about the shape of her face, especially her cheekbones and her chin which does not feel natural at all. But I feel it's also the lack of a well-boned chin that makes her more photogenic in that she can be taken at all angles without getting a bad pic. But no, I wouldn't say her looks are pretty. She does have a beautiful feel about her.

I've seen her as Princess A Ruo in Emperor Qin Shi Huang, Da Ji in Feng Sheng Bang and many other roles, including guest starring ones. Her acting has improved a lot over the years and contrary to popular belief that she's popular due to her looks, she did work her way up from supporting roles to female lead today.

But I hardly like her present personality. Too proud, pragmatic and she strikes me as a transient friend. I remember there's this period of time where she's rather cold to friends like Vicky, LBB, Ren Quan when they want to talk to her.

I like her role in Jin Da Ban. And her role as Jin Suo in HZGG. She's more down-to-earth in both shows.
