I only chose to watch it because I was sooooooo bored, otherwise I might not even skim through it, but this drama was really catchy from the VERY BEGINNING and almost all the way to the end, so I actually end up watching the whole thing without skimming a whole lot like other dramas.
It was very good overall, here are my comments:

Ma Ling Long (Mother of all the main guys):
I was really glad that she is such a good comedian (never over react, or, if she did it was really really funny). She really played an important role in this drama, she was close to being the main cast in this drama, just like the emperor in Princess Pearl. I love her action whenever she said: "God! Why is this life so hard?!" Her character is also surprisingly, very very caring and forgiving.

Chang Shang (first son):
It's not like he's really handsome and I haven't seen him in other dramas before, but I probably fell in love with him at first glance in this show because of his kung fu, honesty, gentleness, and stupidity (he's close to Hu Ge's Dong Yong from Little Fairy with the exception of being a little stupid). This guy really match playing roles like this, I find him adorable like that!

Chang Huan (second son):
Like Chang Shang, he was also VERY likable right way during his first appearance in the drama. His character is witty and playful. After seeing him, he makes you forget about Chang Shang, but you will still like Chang Shang on the side, JK! This actor, Mikey He did a good job, his character here is totally opposite from the 4th prince in Gong. I find him very annoying when he distrusted his wife later on in the show (don't worry, they made up with each other after all that) but that didn't throw me off like Lan Lin Wang because this show still focuses on other characters too, it's not just a story evolving Chang Huan and his wife. Also, for the fact that their misunderstandings was all because of Myolie Wu and for comedy purposes to stir up problems, it was in fact enjoyable to have a some heated scenes that will anger you. It was also a good way for the actor who played Guo Xiao Tian to step into this show also, he is a very good actor!!!

Chang Jun (third son):
The most handsome and cutest bro of the three brothers!!! However, I have the feeling that the two elder brothers are more caring and their characters are more likable. This actor has a baby face!!! I didn't like him that much from his other dramas where he played some lame minor roles, but in this show, he's awesome!!! In this drama, his character is kind of funny and I like all his scenes with his wife, Zhu Ba Jie. They are the CUTEST COUPLE and also the funniest out of all the three couples.


Guo Xiao Tian (minor character):
A really handsome guy with some great authority that also likes Chang Huan's wife, Jin Yu. He falls head over heels for her and does everything for her. He is really adorable for that, but also really mean and soooo unreasonable. He's a really pitiable character. He didn't have a whole ton of scenes in this show so it gave me the feeling like they made him go away too fast, but it's not like he should be in the drama anyway, but who can resist this handsome guy?


Ma Guan (Chang Shang's wife):
Myolie Wu plays as an EXTREME MONEY LOVER in this show, I have only seen her as the SUPER GENTLE and nice Miss Yu from Eternal Happiness from before, and I didn't expect that she was going to play an extremely goofy and excited character in this show. She carries out the role quite well and I admit that she's really funny! She was so silly in this show that there are times I feel like she's a monkey jumping here and there. She does not play as a nice person in this show! You'll see her evil smirks from time to time, and they look so funny. But she's also not detestable for her evil actions either, and she turned into nice person at the end. There are many times that an actor/actress can disturbingly annoy me all the way throughout the whole drama just because of ONE single stupid scene they had acted out earlier (so cruel of me), but I didn't find Myolie Wu disturbing in that kind of sense (I could be biased towards her) as her annoyingness only bother me for a few seconds and would never follow me all the way to the end. I find her funny most of the time instead of being annoying, her parents are the annoying ones, although they also have a few scenes that are also funny as heck!! I also like how her husband married her despite the fact that she's money lover, and she is who she is.
The most memorable scene I like was when she told everybody that her mother-in-law (Ma Ling Long) has a lot of money and she can give them away to anyone if they are willing to go help her husband, all the men in the town started to set their eyes on Ma Ling Long after that. Ma Ling Long figured out what happened (the truth is that she has no secret treasure at all) so went to lecture Ma Guan in anger, Ma Guan cried and wailed that even though she told everyone Ma Ling Long has lots of money, they wouldn't even go help her save Chang Shang.


Jin Yu (Chang Huan's wife):
The most interesting character in the show, and a tiny bit mysterious! Her first appearance in this show was really memorable and COOL, however I first thought she looked a little old and not that pretty. I was a little disappointed at first, why did they choose this actress? After I hear her WAY TOO GOOD VOICE, that consoled me, I find it matching her really well, and her acting is also very convincing that I find her to be very pretty in this show as a result. This character is really enjoyable to watch because she is so adventurous and can be so scheming. Despite being so scheming, she can also be sooo dumb and fall for other people's tricks many times, which is realistic, who on earth is smart 24/7? She is very kind hearted, but like Ma Guan, she can think of evil plans and quite revengeful!


Ba Jie (Chang Jun's wife):
The cutest, most adorable, and funniest character in the entire show! She is also the stupidest one, dumber than Chang Shang. This character is played by Yan Rong. She's actually prettier than the other two main ladies but she is playing as an ugly duckling. She is probably the ONLY and only, AND ONLY actress that can make such cute and funny faces like that without discrimination, I cannot imagine anyone else acting like that and still look cute. Her voice also matches her so well, really really really well that I only find her 0% annoying. She was only stupid but not annoying, I find that amazing. I enjoy every single scenes she did in this show, except for that one dumb idea at the very end where she dress another lady up to be married with her husband because she thought she won't ever get pregnant, then the next minute, she was pregnant and she cancelled the wedding. No matter how stupid she is, she shouldn't go over board to making her husband marry again. But I enjoy those super silly and embarrassing moments she had with Chang Jun, this character is just too cute to describe.
I was so disappointed in her character in Swordsman however, she looks sooo pretty in there compared to this show but where is all that natural cuteness???

Su Jin (minor character):
A prostitute that Ma Guan hires to pretend to be her cousin, lives with her family, seduce Chang Huan and drives Jin Yu away. This character is detestable, but you won't hate her to death like Zheng'er in Lan Ling Wang so don't worry. She appears for a short time of period then leaves the drama forever, her acting is also well done overall.

Miss Xiu (minor character):
A really rich widow that Chang Shang used to work for and she has a crush on him. She is NOT an evil lady, but she was evil to Ma Guan when she knew that Chang Shang likes Ma Guan. This character, again, is not detestable. I think this actress is just tooo pretty, and her acting is so natural. She acted as a mature lady at the beginning, then she got crazy and acts like a little kid. She totally looks like a kid while acting like a kid, she was so funny and cute as a kid too.

Ma Ling Long's Slave Girls:
Ma Ling Long has a lady serving and following her that she calls her name 24/7. Her acting is ok. The other three disciples are always together, and I don't know their names. Their characters are quite annoying at times, but one of them is really funny! She went to as far as pretending to pose as Ma Guan's mother for a few days, how brave and silly of her!!!


Overall:
This drama does have lots of problems coming up and down in the main characters lives, but because those problematic troubles were closely connected to each other, it turns into a good comedy that has problems following one another. The transaction from one scene to another scene was well done and each of them are quite memorable, I really recommend this show! I find Ma Ling Long to be the most memorable person in this show, and the rest are just as lovely.
