    Default bitdefender

Has anyone else got into trouble using this antivirus? I had problems booting when I updated from 2009 to the 2010 version. Although I don't use 64 bit OS which is supposed to be the system affected, my 32 bit OS also played up. Anyone using BD?

This has been going around for awhile.Read this article:http://redtape.msnbc.com/2010/01/tur...nto.html#posts.

Also,go onto http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebyte...-10804572.html to removed bitdefender. Its not a legimate anti-virus.Try not to touch too many buttons on the bitdefender because it can be altered.

What do you mean? I read about it months back and it was among the top 10 anti-virus.

I only had the auto update on and scheduled scans. I checked dell and used their suggestion to repair the system's files. Now my PC is running fine, but I hate to think that an antivirus an do all that.
