Noodles, are you really going to translate Eagles Flying over September? If you are , it'll be great. I've been interested in this story ever since I re-watched The Black Sarbe, which is the prequel to this story.

Hmmm, all these good translators out here. I was planning to do some translating cause my bro just sent me a whole box full of JY novels. I tried translating the first chapter but it turned out so badly--me and my 5 years of Chinese just not good enough

I think I might translate Thrid Master's Sword and/or The Legend of the Great Flag Heroes, after I'm done Liu Xing Hu Die Jian.

Hello, I am new in this forum as a post-er but quite old as a follower.

I really hope you will take Legend of the Great Flag Heroes, the story of Mt. Thi as a hero in that novel are few times mentioned in the others Gu Long novels ( such as, Curve Moon, and Heroes Shed no Tears , and Chu Liu Xiang book number 3 ) - and his name in that other books was famous as a great hero.

This Mr. Thi are also the one who teach the hero Chu Liu Xiang and his bro/close friend Oh Thi Hua a superb martial arts.

So, I really like to read the story of the Chu Liu Xiang teacher , really.

Well. There's no harm in asking.

I'd like to see these translated:

1st. Demi Gods Semi Devils, Jin Yong
I read the first chapters translated by Moinlleon, and so far its my favourite of Jin Yong's works.

2nd. Xiao Li Fei Dao, Gu Long
I read the first 61 chapters translated by Meh. Great work. Really nice. Far better than Lu Xiao Feng.

    3rd. Return of Condor Heroes.
Read all of Noodles translations. Really nice. I only read the bit of LOCH that Moinlleon translated, but from that I'd say ROCH is much better. At least its more entertaining.

    4th. LOCH.

    Anything more is always welcomed.

Its not "have been translated", its "are being translated". Some slower than others, and some seem to have stopped.

    From what I can gather:
LOCH translation stopped. Available in french (wich I really don't like)

ROCH goin' very slowly. But I'm patient.

Xiao Li Fei Dao translation stopped (?! at least very slow, Meh hasn't updated in like 6 months or so)

DGSG translation stopped. Moinllieon seems more interested in translating LXF I guess.

    Oh ... well, I guess.

But you gotta admit, it's pretty hard translating, plus the translators also have other things to do, i.e. school.

So I guess we're just gonna have to wait.

Yah,. I understand the effort involved in the process. It is no small thing.

I always have hope, and that's why I patiently wait and visit this board every other day.

But as I said: there's no harm in askin.

It's published and sold at amazon under the title:

The deer and the cauldron (3 volumes), translated by John Minford, very expensive.

Default Where can i find english translations of HSDS from chapter 11 onwards?

I've found about 3 threads in this forum of english translations of HSDS.One is chapter 5-11 of the 2nd edition HSDS,but the person doing the translations seem to have dissapeared for quite a while, unfornately.Chapter 1-7 or so of 1st edition is currently being done, and the chapters covering the battle at Guanming Peak was found, oddly enough, straight from the yahoo search engine o.O.

Im wondering, did i miss out any threads or a website that translates chapter 11 onwards of HSDS 2nd edition?I understand there are major changes between 2nd ed and 1st ed,and since someone is already doing 1st ed translations,im currently looking for translations of 2nd ed,chapter 11 onwards.

P.S.Does anyone know if the book itself have been translated into english? It seems odd that such a popular book would not have been translated into other languages, especially considering how many serials have been made about it.
