Damn TV adaptations and tv series that involve any character taking leaves off a bush or a tree branch and just using them to play a tune. A part of me think it's stupid because it's impossible for leaves to make sounds like a flute. And there's the other half that want to believe it's possible.

It is actually possible. It might not sound exactly like a true flute, but there are tribes (tribal peoples) who play music of some sort by blowing on leaves.
