POLL: How pretty was DFBB

DFBB is the rising star over this year. What is the explanation of this phenomenon? So let's see a pool on did she/he pretty ? Three options :

1. as hot as you can imagine of transvertise (not possible since no boobs operations at the time)

2. she/he only change in behaviour , she/he pay no attention on it "external" looking

3. she/he pay attention to clothing, make up and cutting hairs, but you really want to puke compare to option 1.

...I really don't understand what's being asked? At first, I thought it was asking how pretty DFBB was in the opinions of the board. I immediately imagined a bunch of grown males cringing in revolt. But I'm here too. I might initially be compelled to do the same...however, I remember the ladyboys I saw in Thailand, and I ogled them too! On second thought, I thought the question asked how DFBB would've looked/appeared in the book.

If I recall correctly, DFBB, though castrated and trussed up in pink clothing, was obviously still male. That is, he was obviously a man in woman's clothing, this was NO Harisu!

the DFBB in the novel was ugly, like the wuxia voldemort. vfugly. in the movies, they had a hot chick to play him. in some of the adaptions too, except for the true to the story ones.

While there is no breast surgery in those days, unless you get up close or she wears a 2 piece bikini, even an ancient and resourceful drag queen can stuff her top with oranges.

If you have ever seen that japanese show where japanese guys get makeovers to look like girls and get rated by the audience, some asian guys certainly can look very pretty without much effort. I look at korean dramas and alot of those male leads are prettier than the girls...

If you do visit thailand be very careful because it can be very hard to tell sometimes - some even have surgery to remove their adams apple which to me was the failsafe for when you couldn't tell by any other means.

On screen it certainly is more dramatic to have DFBB played by a pretty female like in the singapore version as we tend to be more sympathetic and her end is all the more tragic and ironic.
