Default Who should be blamed for the current chaotic situation in Thailand???

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2010_Th...tical_protests

Thaksin, his party, the Red Shirt
Abhisit, his party, the Yellow Shirt, Military, elites
    The King
    Others? explain...

So far at least 20 deaths and neither sides is willing to back off. Things won't get better before it gets worse. Who do you blame for the chaotic situation? I would blame the military, elites, ect... for the situation. The coup was a grave mistake. Ever since the coup, things keep getting worse and worse, one protest after another.

OOP, my bad mistake. The last option of the poll should be "Other, explain" instead of "The king"

I think all sides had responsibility, but right now, one side has to give in. Because if political power is seized yet again, it's going to look really bad for Thailand and you can be sure the Yellow Shirts will be out in the streets again, and the cycle continues. >_> So one side has to give in and stop the nonsense. >_>

Now where's Gugu? I would like to read her opinion on this.

Yes, but the Red Shirts has legitimate reason to protest while the Yellow Shirts doesn't. Thaksin and his ally won the election outright but all remove by either military coup and the court. On the other hand, the Democratic party on power not by election but due to back by the elite and the military. All the Red Shirts want is fair election, which is very reasonable. As for Thaksin, he is not perfect, but I don't see how the current government is better than him. At least, he won the election outright. There are clearly lot of double standard against the Red Shirts so I don't think they will back down. The General who planned and carried out the illegal coup should be punished for the crime. The country has been going downhill ever since.

I am not informed enough to offer a thoughtful opinion. However, I am in great admiration for the Thai people who have the gumption to pursue and fight for what they believe in. I wish other neighboring countries would be so brave instead of criticizing Thailand, as they are won't to do at present.
