I didn't know there's an official Gay Pride Week. It's probably needed, if not, it'll be buried and conveniently forgotten.

I think, having a hetero-pride week is like farting with your pants down - needless. And supposedly, h-pride week do exist..... there's more to do than just putting your heads together.

My city had the Gay Pride Parade just last weekend. I have a friend coming in & he's bringing a couple who flew in from SF. I was amazed. I didn't realize that my city actually has 2nd or 3rd largest gay community in US (or so I've been told).

By the way, according to wikipedia, June is Pride month, which explains why different cities have a different week they designate as Pride week, throughout the month of June.
