She looks like a China doll in the sequel.

I've also noticed that Yu Zheng likes to cast Sun Fei Fei in his productions as much Zhang Ji Zhong casts He Zhuo Yan in his.

I have finally decided to watch JPLH after procrastinating because I absolutely cannot stand Mickey He. But once I learned to just pretend he's not there, I'm actually enjoying the drama. It is like a lighter version of BBJX. I must admit, BBJX was better, but this does bring back some memories of BBJX for me.

Apparently there is now a 9 ep mini-series out on youtube about Liu Li and 13th & 9th and some soul travelling to the future business. Yuan Shan Shan guest stars as an evil imperial concubine and Yang Rong is in it too as a small role. No one else looks very attractive. Looks horrible. How much longer is Yu Zheng going to milk this dead cow?

I'll admit i only started watching this for something to fill the Feng Shaofeng void after Lan Ling Wang, boy he is a cutie in period dramas and seems to have gotten better with age. *Drools* He seems to do the childish, bickering puppy-love thing so well! Well and truly on the FSF band wagon now! Loved the scenes where he was close to the fake Qing Chaun and she gave him a peck on the cheek or on their wedding night when she spoke politely to him and though he has always longed for affection from her, in his head he was like "wait a minute... She isn't normally so sweet to me!" Or " that's not right, the real her would have argued with me by now!" That's love for ya!

And yes like all good fairy tales there was a happily ever after! YAY!

Local TV station in Singapore started to air this at midnight. I find it fine to watch, mainly because I enjoyed BBJX very much. General liking to Qing Dynasty drama.

Just completed this series on youtube.

Very enjoyable.
Good chemistry between the 2 leads.
Change of subplot every few episodes kept it interesting.
Lots of pretty face.

Filled with action scenes. A little too much slashing and stabbing. Arrows to the 3 women brings shock.
For some reason there are forced hugs, kisses, rape every few episodes

Some bloopers when the camera angle was too high exposing the trees outside the forbidden city wall. Legend-of-Zhen-Huan avoided this more carefully.

"all ends well" ending is good for me.
