I just saw a clip with an interview with Tong Liya, where she revealed a bit of her character's story...and it makes it seem like the 4th prince is going to be a bad character here.

I hope I'm just getting the wrong impression because I really liked Yongzheng after watching "Yongzheng Wang Chao" and I'll hate it if this series buys into the whole "he stole the throne from his brother" thing while making the 8th prince the good guy.

Plus I was looking forward to the storyline for the 4th prince + Su Yan, except now it sounds really depressing.

Can't say I'm a huge fan of time travel stories though...I think I only made it 5 episodes into Hu Ge's "the Myth" series before I gave up on it. Hopefully this one is more interesting and has a way better 2nd half than MRXJ.

I hope Yang Mi's character is not as obnoxious as Hu Ge's character in The Myth...dang really the lead was the least likable guy in the series.

...in truth, while I'm sure YK would be hot with a shaved Qing dynasty hair do..but maybe it's for the best that he doesn't have to shave his hair off. I saw pictures of the series on Yu Zheng's Weibo...that guy is really enamored of the ladies. By that I mean, based on his dramas and choice of pics...I'd say he gets a big kick and sick pleasure out of seeing girls fight hahaha ie MRXJ I agree. The first half was quite compelling while the last half was just redundant.
