I didn't see Sheren Tang name on the cast list or am I wrong somehow? I voting for 8 prince instead of following history & 4 prince take the throne. I want FSS as king.

Yeah. I've seen many pics of Tong Li Ya and I see don't see the resemblance between her and Sheren.

Yang Mi and Feng Shao make a cute couple. I like them better than Mickey and Yang Mi. They were too serious business in Beauty Scheme. I love how playful and cute Yang Mi and Feng Shao is so far.

bachtuyet, swtaznlaydee is referring to YM/Mickey He's pairing in a different series, MRXJ.

I actually really liked them together--in fact they were probably my favourite couple. Unfortunately, their messed up ending kind of ruined it. Still, I found their story really touching and the most memorable.

As for Sonja, I'm not totally sure but I think she's playing a concubine/wife to Kang Xi (Mickey He/FSF's father), so she would be in the "older" generation.

I wonder how the timeline of this series is gonna work...I've seen a photo of Mickey He in the emperor's robes. However Yongzheng didn't become emperor until he was pretty old (in his 40s), while this series seems to take place when the princes are still young?

(Though based on how Yuzheng messed with history in MRXJ I guess I shouldn't expect any historical accuracy here either...)
