Was Beggar's Union Chief Wong from DGSD in on the Ah Mun Pass Massacre that seemingly orphaned Siu Fung? This wasn't made clear in DGSD '81, but it's the only reason I can think of that Kiu Fung eventually ended up a member of the Beggar's Union rather than as a Shaolin monk.

Wang Jiantong was part of Xuanci's troupe. The manga has Xiao Feng landing on his lap after Xiao Yuanshan threw him up while falling down the cliff. Xiao also mentions that Wang was lucky to have died before he got to him.
