    The well-known TVB actress announced to get married by next year and will have children. But it's rumored that she bought a 500k HKD worth Mercedes Benz for her veterinarian boyfriend. Although her boyfriend's salary isn't that bad, but compared to Jessica's, it's still not that much.

    What does these media people want? When actresses dated/married rich men, they are gold diggers. But, when they dated men that earn less, they are supporting their boyfriend/husband i.e. making their men sound useless.

    Yeah exactly. Not only are the men made to sound useless, the article also gave the impression those men are predatory.

    basically it just goes to say, marry out of your 'level', people will start talking.

    thats why in the old days people believed in the traditional arranged marriages where your future spouse would be someone of a similar 'level' as yourself.

    Or all of you would just realise that tabloids need to keep writing to make money, and they'll take any slant they can to grab readers. They don't care what light they paint these people in.
