Oh, it's one of my favorite scene from QSHF - a desperate countermeasure. QY beat FY, but actually it's himself who badly injured (Because he already fall in love w/ her though he haven't realized yet.) Yan Kuan did great job in every single of his scene.

My fav scene of Yan Kuan was when Qiyou was duelling the three bulky dudes from Northern Han so he could get back the jade from the bratty princess. He changed from being arrogant, fierce, to yearning to annoyed in just a few frames. Then after spewing some blood when Fuya enters, he goes from from sad to concerned to shock to heartbroken in a space of a few minutes then faints. What a great range in such a short time
My fav scene of Wallace was when Fuya found out that Lian Cheng was behind everything and he told her how to escape safety with his authority pendant after killing him. I was bawling for minutes after that scene!
Ruby's best scene was when Fuya was encouraging Qiyou when he was in Northern Han and he saw some mean stuff to make her go away and she slapped him. Ruby is like a tap! She cries on cue everytime!"Better to write for yourself and have no public, than to write for the public and have no self."

I agree. I love all of their (Fuya, Liancheng and Qiyou) scenes when they are in North Han. one loyalty to one love...

Found this interesting interview with Yan Kuan on Youtube. He sings, talks about his brows, career, his thoughts about Meng Qi You & hopes. After watching this, I find I respect Yan Kuan much more for his professionalism, effort and personality. Really hope he gets some deeper roles in the future.

Wallace's face almost destroyed in this scene. A guy poked his face with this long sword but luckily he used his arm to hit the sword and it instead poked into his mouth. His mouth was breeding after that. Poor guy.
