i really dont like hong xiao ling; i think she's ugly. and she totally doesn't suit the period/costume look AT ALL.
she was the one in my lucky star with jimmy lin right? the 2nd female lead? yeah, always thought she was ugly...what role does she play in here?

Hong Xiao Ling and Mao Zi Jun are playing siblings, Ma Xian Yun and Ma Du Yun. But I don't think they get a lot of screentime.

I haven't read Qing Shi yet as I'm busy reading Bu Bu. Both novels are very long. I'll download and print Qing Shi once I finish with Bu Bu.

usually some actors/actresses doesn't look good on pictures but when they are on screen they look really good i hope this is the case...
and yan kuan looks so skinny... at least his face does, i think thats why he looks so aged.
