Help identifying wuxia series

I watched a wuxia series several years ago and I'd love to find it again, but after hours of searching, nothing's really come up.
This is what I remember about it:
- The protagonist is a young lady who initially doesn't know any martial arts, but starts learning and becomes really good at it throughout the series.
- She's the youngest daughter of a noble (royal?) family and is initially rather pampered.
- Her older sister taught her some martial arts at the beginning, and at one point she used it, surprising everyone present because no one knew she knew any martial arts.
- There's more than 1 season of this series, but with a different actress as the protagonist.
- At some point, this old guy joins her team. On the outside, he's an old harmless scholarly man who doesn't know any martial arts, but it was implied that he's really powerful and secretly helps the protagonist on her journey.
- In a later season (second? third, if there is one?), the protagonist becomes pregnant.
- I feel like this is a 90s wuxia show, but I'm not really sure.
- I seem to recall it being called something like 保镖, but since I can't read Chinese, I couldn't understand any of the few possible search results that came up, and I really can't remember much of the visual aspect (so Google images didn't work very well).

Sorry for the long post, but I looked for this a few years back and couldn't find it then either. Any help would really be appreciated!

I don't recall the main protagonist getting pregnant by the later sequel of the series. I really didn't like the actress who replaced Cynthia Khan, so I didn't really bother following it as much as the prequel and first sequel.
