Yin Liting and Yang Buhui in Yitian Tulong Ji!
I feel a little disturbed by this couple as it seems to me he married his own daughter.
What do you think about them?
Yes! Creepy as hell!
No! Fine for me!

He nailed a younger chick. *hi5*
Don't be a hater.

Nope, fine with me... If you don't get the girl then go for her daughter!
I heard JY's wife is 20+ years younger than him too.
Usually you'd go for her sister, BFF then mum, in that order, but if you're patient enough, I guess going for her daughter is kosher, further down the track when she turns legal.

He could have gone for Miejue or Ding Minjun instead... but he decided to be patient and wait!
These responses creep me out. The relationship is pretty weird, but not exceedingly creepy.
In modern eyes, yes it is creepy to see a man marry a girl that could've been his daughter's age, had he and her mother married. But you see Tom Cruise marrying Katie Holmes...and she's the one who idoled him when she was a girl. Talk about yuck!
But men in Ancient China had married and had concubines/mistresses with a 20-50 years or more age difference.
I just love how you Captivate My Mind

I always thought the May-December relationship between these two is quite sweet and a touch melancholic. YBH didn't need a father figure and YLT, I would assume, knew that YBH was an individual and not just a replacement for her mother. After all, she didn't *have* to marry him. In addition, though I think YBH's initial affections stemmed from pity for the poor guy, but she married him out of love in the end. I think that YBH was not quite 20 and her husband was not quite 40...so not that bad? haha, well all the Yin Li Ting's looked quite young.
I like me.
That is so that the viewers don't PUKE during the show. jk
Somehow, I always get the feeling that wuxia shows/stories tend to have different judging criteria when it comes to love and relationships as compared to the actual historical ones where the Emperor or some rich powerful dude having dozens of concubines is commonplace and accepted. Our wuxia heroes tend to get quite some flak for even being indecisive between two ladies.

STOP using DHMO! It kills innocent lives!
Seriously... I wouldn't go with a guy who once had the hots for my mom or sister. It's just too weird! >_<!
It is creepy to me.
However, I absolutely love Yin Liting. Even 20 years later, he was still lovesick and unable to control himself and constantly thinking Yang Buhui is his mother, until she finally gave in. Yin Liting is a passionate man.
Correctamundo. Age difference of 20 years is nothing, QF was like 16 years older than A'Zhu and I find their relationship pretty OK. What creepy about this couple, imo, is that Yin had a relationship w/ Yang while still being head over heels for her mummy, and Yin, despite knowing that this middle-aged dude sorta only saw her as a stand-in for her mom, still chose to stick w/ and fell for him (No freakin' way this is possible!)?!
Uncomfortable, but certainly not creepy. To be creepy, someone needs to be like Wu Zetian.
