After living for the last 15 years or so like I was still a college student, my spending habits have suddenly changed drastically. Since I returned from my vacation I've been buying pretty much everything from my "nice to have list", and blowing through all my previous budget limits. Good thing cars and houses are not on the list... although I would like to buy a couple of acres of farmland or woodland...

In a couple of weeks it will just be "business analyst" currently it's "developer/project manager/BA/SA/general troubleshooter for whatever ails you". What it means is that I work in an asset management company, and design/build/troubleshoot stuff for the business users.

It looks like most of the stuff I bought recently falls into the "preppers" category. I wonder if this reflects deep insecurities on my part, too much exposure to zombie movies and games, or having read too much Boy's Life in my formative years.

What? Chris Lee and Fann Wong been married since 2009? I'm so out of the loop. Apparently they're expecting their first child this year. Them being 42-43 year old, I hope them a safe pregnancy and healthy baby. Having a baby so late in the game has its risks.
