Damn driver cut me off and sped just because I stopped...sheesh. There's a "YIELD" sign for a reason when traffic is coming from that direction!

Good luck and hope it turns for the best. Afterwards: take a break and do some self care.

Thanks, skoo78 and LuNaR. I am basically a jack freelancer of all projects - some free, some paid. Anyway, meeting goes fine. But I excuse myself from this project because it is too IT-focused. As what skoo78 said, take a break.

You're welcome! Questions: What type of freelance projects do you do?

As what I said, many :-) the paid ones include
    1. cleaning co-ordination
    2. housekeeping project
    3. surveying people
    4. training
    5. shifting of things project, etc etc etc. In short, anything which I think it's worth doing, i can do and i have the time.

    The unpaid ones generally are:
    1. bringing the sick/old for medical appointments
    2. cleaning houses especially during Chinese New Year period. I think I help to clean about 60 homes this year. Very good exercise. I slept very well after each cleaning.
    3. chatting with the sick/old.

Wow. Can I hire you (and if you have a team) to clean my house too? Jk. That is great to know that you give your time freely to the community. Keep it up.

*sigh* I need to say NO sometimes when my gut feeling is telling me to. Back to the drawing board. It is going to be intense to practice a new song with a live pianist, especially in my native language...love doing this, but hate it also. SMH.

I would recommend Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. When you land on Victoria, rent a car and travel all over the island. It's one of the best regions in Canada to visit.

Thanks TC. My friend went there once and said it was very beautiful. However, she got robbed from parking her rental car in the ramp. The only places that I went to in Canada was Kitchener and Niagra Falls. I was excited to be at the presence of where they filmed Superman saving the boy from falling off the rail.

Lovely cold day and sprinkling. Should have checked the weather first before leaving home wearing a dress. Failed.

Yeah, probably doesn't help but if it helps you reach enlightenment being over there in the Midwest, so be it.

Eh, well...it could be worse. Seventy years ago, people had to deal with the Great Depression and World War II. This is nothing compared to that.
