Before you get married. That way you can see if you can stand living with the person before you make a commitment.

    1. Make sure he put your name into house ownership.
    2. Make sure his bank a/cs has your name.
    3. Make sure he transferred US$5000 to you for your personal use every month.

The world has changed. Will he be building a wall to prevent you from visiting Ken or skoo78?

The wall is for the boarder in the south, not in the north. US welcomes Canadians traveling south for shopping. We Canadians do not want to work in the US farm.

People in the Netherlands are angry that Trump won, can't imagine how the people in the U.S. feel

People in the Netherlands should not angry over Trump's victory. It's none of their business.

I don't like all the political correctnesses from the Clinton and Democratic Party. Trump is not politically correct but I believe he is practical and will get things done. You will see that Trump will sign the Keystone Pipeline that Obama refused to sign.

The Netherlands have as much right to express themselves as the Canadians on this issue. Not sure why being a loud mouth bigot is considered an asset to being a leader, but if this is whom the US wants to represent them so be it. The world is descending into a climate of fear and xenophobia I just hope there are enough good people left to pick up the pieces when this is over.

OH, there is a division among us in the US. I've heard from news, nonwhite friends and people across the states (even mine) experiencing racism and hate. I blame Trump for the most part because he added more fuel to the fire to create fear and unsafe environments for nonwhites, documented and undocumented immigrants, refugees, LGBTQ, women, and muslims. He being president surely exposed these ignorant racists ten times more than before. What he have done cannot be undone but I would love it if he can start by calling out these racists and give a formal apology to the people. SMH... Pray for America.

skoo78, I also heard about people moving to canada. On one of the chinese channels, the reporter himself said he would migrate to canada. I also heard there were riots going on since the election results came out.

Yes, it's true. For the last couple of days, there have been protests from across the states. There was one yesterday night at my state where protesters blocked the major highway. I was lucky to go to work earlier on that day or else I would've been stuck in traffic

Here's one riot that happened earlier this morning in Portland, Oregon.

If Trump does draw back troops from Asia, then China would be laughing its head off.

Take care, Skoo. I saw some videos of the riots from the news. Does not look good to be on the ground.
