Yesterday, I was just thinking of taking up martial arts again - considering Judo or ..... BJJ - thought of consulting Banh Mi, but I think he has given pretty useful tips down there.
What can I say? I'm still standing! No weapon against me shall prosper! I am more than a conqueror!!!

I don't care to sit by the window on an airplane. If I can't control it, why look?

Boring? - Sounds like the beginning of Aikido.

What about age? I'm getting old and afraid that my bones are getting fragile.

You can practice martial arts at any age. You just generally can't sustain a high intensity when you're older. But still, there are people that start at very late ages.

This is Kyuzo Mifune, a small old man, but the most respected technician in Judo next to Kano. A good training place will allow you the freedom to communicate the level of intensity you want in training.

Aikido can be interesting depending on how you appreciate body mechanics.

I think my childhood caretakers were mostly interested in my grades at school, not so interested in the rest of me.

Thank you! Will keep that offer in mind.

When false lash brands claim that their hair is "100% human", I wonder what part of the "human" body the hair is extracted from. May do a little research just to make sure it isn't armpit or private regions.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Oh, Beavis and Butthead! I remember I came to know about these two goons from a game which is pre-installed in my first PC back in 1995. The game had a short story introduction that introduces B & B ran off from a class but still roam around within the school compound to play pranks on teachers and school mates. The game wasn't a full version, but a limited one (since it is free) and the part of the game I was allowed to play is this "How Far can your loogie/boogie hit the victim". The victim is either a school mate, a teacher or the principal. You get more points if you could hit the principal.

New episodes are being produced for broadcast on MTV later this year. The Beavis and Butthead renaissance is on.

Hard to believe that *90s* nostalgia has begun...

Though it's only rerun, the networks are showing Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and The Magic School Bus again.
