Evidently I can't edit my posts on mobile. Was going to say it take a lot of time and effort to establish and maintain close friendships. As we grow older we have less time to spend with friends simply due to the daily demands of life... Also various people don't play nicely with one another which puts further limits on your time.

Then again, the funerals I've seen from my culture, our social gathering involves a mix of entertainment, reunions, playing card games, drinking alcohol, feast, and funeral rites of staying by the dead loved one 24 hour/day for three days. But this depends if the funeral is westernized or traditional.
