Just watched some old documentaries. Even though technology and education has improved over the years, history repeats itself over and over again due to man's lack of wisdom.

Looks like free movies are allowed in this forum. But it is so messy.

Definitely NOT ALLOWED, but the mods who have jurisdiction are asleep at the wheel.

Additionally, let it be known: it's flattering...so very flattering, that you all still think of me as the SUPER-Moderator of SPCNET, but the truth is that I haven't been a Super-Moderator here in over six years now. I have jurisdiction over the Wuxia Forum and this Off-Topic Forum, and you'll see no lingering SPAM on those boards, but there isn't much I can do about the other forums if their moderators aren't paying attention. I've attempted to flag their attention, but there's nothing more that I can do. If you want action on this, don't go through me...you need to go straight to the top.

Obnoxious fictional characters are often accompanied by equally obnoxious fan bases.

True wkeej. Sometimes when I see news about tragic events, I get sad and upset, wishing I can be a superhero and go save these innocent people or just apprehend these criminals. Then I think about my work that I do and know that a few people don't want to be save. Those are the ones that I wish I can save but know I cannot. *Just thinking...*

Because they refused to be saved? Their fault? Maybe internally, they want to be saved??

Some people may not want to be saved, but at least you know that you have tried your best. They may not want to be saved now, but how about next week? next month? next year? 10 years later? You cannot save everyone by yourself, but you're not alone. Save who you can, and let others save who they can.

If you look up to someone, is it true that the someone is looking down on you?

yes. There will be people that will look down upon you because they want you to fail in life.

No. I'm just talking in old English saying, "Where is Mr. Sun (as in the Sun)?" because today was very gloomy and rainy day here in Minnesota.

I was thinking about Dr Sun Yat-Sen when I read your post.

What to do when your Prime Minister acts like an idiot?
