Did Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung die of natural causes, or something else?

Central Divinity Wong Chung Yeung died just a few years (or was it just a few months) after defeating the other Greats at the First Mt. Hua Sword Tournament. His health seemed to decline rapidly after that tournament. Did Wong Chung Yeung die of natural causes, or was his death hastened by something else (e.g. expending too much energy to win the Mt. Hua Sword Tournament)?

I think he just died of old age. It's unlikely the cause of his death was him running out of internal energy or something similar b/c after the 1st Huashan tourney he still had the vim to go from Mt Zhongnan in Shaanxi to Dali in Yunnan 2 times to meet Yideng. He also mastered the 1 Yang finger which required lots of internal energy from the user during that period of time. No washed-out man should have been able to do what he did.

He seemed to go into decline pretty rapidly after the First Mt. Hua Sword Tournament. Until that point, he had been extraordinarily hale and hearty for a man his age, but after the tournament, his health dissipated in a hurry.

Didn't Zhang Sanfeng remark that should he fight a powerful opponent, it would shorten his life?

Actually, I do like Ken's hypothesis that Huashan tournament contributed to WCY's death. It makes sense.
