Also, this production is being eclipsed by Qing Shi, plus Ruby's star power is many times ahead of LSS.

That's bcos Ruby's been hyping up the media at maximum strength for it. But her recent male cast choices are blah. It's always dangerous to hype so much, then disappoint.

But I still prefer the 5 Dynasties 10 Kingdoms period to Qing. In fact any dynasty has better fashion sense than Qing.

The fact that Bu Bu Jing Xin is a very famous Internet novel with a large following of fans has given her a lot of pressure.

I'm very glad Tangren is adapting from such a famous novel. They are excellent at adapting from famous stories & games, e.g. LOCH, Ti Zhi Mei, Young Warriors, CP. I don't want to see Karen try writing her own story again (i.e. Tian Ya Zhi Nu) for the most obvious reason that she's NOT best-selling author material.

Earlier in 2010, Tangren bought the copyright for Bu Bu Jing Xin intending to tailor-make the series for Yuan Hong, but he left Tangren in July 2010. Usually a Tangren artiste has to lead a Tangren production.

As for the "gay" reference, Yuan Hong's just joking in his weibo about 13th Prince's devotion to 4th Prince.

Yes, 13th Prince and Ruoxi are bosom friends, but she will become shocked by his (and 4th Prince's) treacherous actions later in the novel - hence the name "Bu Bu Jing Xin" which translates loosely to "A Gradual Shock".

Hehe, so HongShi is still (somewhat) alive. During their next event, I want LSS and YH to talk on the same stage! And I want interaction!

I think it's more likely that LSS will interview together with Nicky & Kevin.
