Nicky's team goes into discussion mode. Strangely, it was a given that LSS was on Nicky's team, there was no obvious move to 'choose' her. Hmm...guess there is no fear of not being wanted on the assumed winning team when one is such an important star of the show.

Actually, they cut this part out but from the fan cams that were uploaded earlier, we saw that 10th and 14th tried to get LSS on their team but 4th and 13th wouldn't allowed it

A few notes from New Face:
-Shi Xiaoqun bought all 100 or so people on set hamburgers and LGX wasn't on set that day so they asked LSS to recount it. SXQ thought that she didn't get one because she was always busy filming or getting makeup done. LSS says, "Being myself, is it possible that I didn't eat one?" She was having makeup done at the time but still didn't miss out, lol. After talking about hamburgers, two of the hosts say that they're hungry and ask LSS if she's hungry. She says she is and turns to SXQ.
-At Hengdian, there's only one street of restaurants. The hosts sang a rap listing all the restaurants at Hengdian and they asked LSS which ones she's eaten at. Obviously, she's eaten at all of them.
-They talk about weather at Hengdian and how hot it is in July. LGX says that he thinks it's worse in August and they tease him on how he can't get away from the number 8 (August in Chinese is 8th month).
-They talk about winter coats and how all actors who spend a lot of time at Hengdian have huge coats. LSS is asked her favourite colour and both of her coats are floral. The host suddenly asks her her favourite food out of the blue. Then, he asks her what her favourite flower is and she seems to catch on. He asks her what her favourite song is and she says, "pass" (like her conversation with 4th in the series).
-They talk about how you turn your head with the hairpiece on. If you turn your head too fast, the stuff hanging from it is going to slap you in the face.
-They played a game with a bunch of challenges. When LGX was asked to write "Bu Bu Jing Xin" with his butt, he wrote it on one spot so all the words overlapped. He actually wrote out every word properly to the host's surprise.

One of my favourites is when Ruoxi tricks 10th (not that difficult, I know ) into thinking that 8th punished her terribly for the Mingyu incident and 10th even wanted to bring her to confront 8th about it. It was really obvious to 14th but not to 10th.

This isn't exactly tricking, but I also like the scene when she repeats to 4th the "go with the flow"-ish quote 4th told her but makes the ending totally random.

Personally, DMY is second in my list of romantic Chinese books-although BBJX would be my next favourite ( the ending...). I've already said this heaps, but I'll still say it again.

From the books I've read so far, only Bai Qian and Ye Hua's love story from Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms (三生三世，十里桃花, book written by Tang Qi Gong Zi / 唐七公子) can top HQB and Jin Yu's love story.

The movie that Tang Ren will be making is based on the book by Tang Qi (TLTW).

So TLTW is your #1? By the way, I've been trying to remember the name of this one story I read a while ago. It's about a regent's daughter who is in love with a general. In the beginning of the novel, they are on their way to send a princess to her wedding with a foreign prince. The main girl was sent to live with her Sifu by her father and her second "brother" is in love with her. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Sorry if I'm a bit off topic.

Ah, that is just a perfect marriage pic of LSS and Kevin . Thanks for reposting, Dragon Heiress. I am just amazed at LSS's chemistry with all the princes in BBJX. How often does an actress accomplish such a feat? Usually, I'm just glad to have chemistry between the main leads.

At the beginning, I also doubted that Nicky, Kevin, and LSS would do justice to their characters. They haven't impressed me with their previous roles. Boy, I'm sure glad they proved me (and many others) wrong.
