I've been so busy trying to catch up on other series that I don't have time to re-watch BBJX yet. Plus, it really makes me so emotional afterward. But for BBJX 2, I can hardly wait!

I think I've watched BBJX at least 4x before the sad-tragic endings start to get to me. So now if & when I rewatched it, it will be right until 4th becomes emperor. Cos after that, it has become too sad to watch it.

For BBJX2, I'm reserving my thots & comments until more info is available. Like others, I dun wish a Part-2 to spoil the original show's uniqueness. Then with me a LongShi shipper, I do want them to be together, if possible.

My thoughts exactly. I am still only 1-2 episodes after 4 became the emperor. Don't want to be depressed by moving forward...

I've been trying to find the first version of HuGe and Alan's "One persistent thought" in full but I haven't been able to.
Im talking about the first one before it had to be changed because of copyright stuff. I like the composition and extra instruments on that one more and I'm pretty sure i've heard it full before...If anyone can help, that would be great TY in advance

I myself like this version as well, but because TR had to change it due to copyright issues (just a few weeks after it's first release), the full version of this song would probably have been trashed by TR already (if it did exist in the first place). I do believe this is the longest of the old version of One Persistent Thought available.

its eternal by akashi jin... i cant find a video of the original on youtube but here is a piano cover of it.. it is slightly similar i guess, esp if you hear the piano alone.

That's quite normal, because A'lan and Yan Yi Dan are professional singers/songwriters. Even while listening to One Persisent Thought, you can tell that HG's singing skills are quite below A'lan's.

If not, Qingchuan (Yang Mi) is the lead character from Yu Zheng's Gong/Jade Palace Lockheart.
