I think it's fine if they don't start filming this year because I think it's a bit too sudden. If they film next year, they may be able to fix the script and make it much better than it is now. It's just that we're so eager to see the cast back together that we don't really care about the script.

Just watched the last few eps of BBJX and really can't wait for the sequel! Quite a few calls for a modern continuation of the last scene over on YT, so I don't suppose they're announced the setting yet?

In any case, I really would rather wait for a suitable script that does the original justice than a half-arsed attempt simply to capitalise on its popularity right now.

Not to bring back the dreaded Gong/Palace comparisons (since it CANNOT compare), but just wanted to mention how dreadful Gong 2 was in relation to Gong 1. And Gong 1 was bad...
