that's what I want to ask you guys/gals too. I'm not trying to be bias but seriously the way that Shishi look at Nicky is different from her costars. I feel like is a very sweet loving look. I have try not to misinterpret but seriously how can you not. Is different...lol

It seems that there's 6 different types of instrumentals for Three Inches of Heaven in the drama, but only 3 have been released officially. I guess an alternative way is to rip the mp3 from the episode. Can be done using Vegas.

What a great show! I've heard good things about Bu Bu Jing Xin even though palace dramas aren't really my kind of genre, and watching it blew away my expectations. The production elements - acting, direction, camera work, music, costumes and writing are all top-notch. The only non-nitpicky complaint I have about the show is that the CGI is shoddy in some key scenes. But given what I've seen of CGI in Chinese shows so far, I guess that's pretty much unavoidable.

As for the rest, wow! BBJX might well rank as my second-favorite TV show of all time. The artistry and production values not only surpass most other Chinese shows, but rank right up there with some of the best Western TV shows. Recently, I've only been watching Game of Thrones, and I think that that comparison is favorable in most aspects. The one area where BBJX is a lot better than I expected is in the music - usually, mainland shows have pretty generic incidental music that doesn't add all that much flavor. Here, key scenes tend to be accompanied by instrumentals drawn from the main themes and sub-themes, lending a lot of continuity and emotional punctuation. It's also nice to see frequent use of traditional instruments, particularly the er hu.

It's too bad that it's unlikely that anyone involved in BBJX has made anything better, but I'm glad that they've gotten a big boost from the show. I'm particularly interested in Li Guo Li's presentation and style. Other than Strange Hero and the old TVB stuff, can anyone recommend anything that he's made?

LOL...I do think the camaraderie amongst the BBJX cast was uniquely close. Even William Peng and other Hunan TV bosses said they haven't seen this level of closeness with other series cast.

The only other production I can think of where the cast formed such closeness was Young Warriors of the Yang Clan (Tangren/ Li Guo Li's best production IMO plus there's Eddie and Peter in it )
