haha idk, i've never seen either of them act before, so my judgements are purely based on pictures. and based on pictures, i just find kevin slightly more pleasing to the eye. lol.
but anyway. i'm pretty sure that kevin was photoshopped into that picture, which is why he looks so good. lol

To be honest, I don't she looks good in Qing dynasty clothes - Yang Mi looks better than her in the fan-made pics. Shi Shi looks 10000X better in Song dynasty clothes, e.g. HSDS (even in a bit part), Tian Ya Zhi Nu (even with most of her scenes unfairly cut), LOCH08. I think it's to do with the hair.

I agree! I don't think LSS has the face shape to carry out the Qing Dynasty costumes. I didn't think Yang Mi looked that good in it either(IMO), but she looked better than LSS. So far the actresses that I felt looked good in it are Tong Liya and Hu Jing

Sad to say, I agree too. I think actresses with large eyes carry off the Qing hairdo better, e.g. Vicky Zhao and Ruby Lin in Huan Zhu Ge Ge. I thought Yang Mi looks pretty good in Gong.

I never liked the Qing clothes - they make the girls look fat. Somehow Song dynasty hairdos and flowy attires are more flattering for actresses. I thought YH-LSS coupling looked so good in LOCH08 bcos she was in a really feminine Song dress/hairstyle which contrasted v.well with YH's bad boy hair/clothes. In Tian Ya, she looked best in the Song princess royal dresses. And of course, she was a knock-out in that gorgeous flowing yellow dress in HSDS09! The Chinese media named her the prettiest Mu Nianci and prettiest Yellow Dressed Maiden in history - both in Song dynasty outfits!

BTW, I read that YH will be kissing Tang Yan in Ad World (though I think Tang Yan looks more mature than him in his little boy haircut!). So Xiao Xiao, no loss for LSS kissing Nicky and Kevin in front of YH in Bu Bu.

YH is still finishing up his Ad World scenes and will only start on Bu Bu on 15 Dec.

Now that I've to agree. Even in their 40s, Nicky and Kevin are much hotter than FSF and Mickey He (Mickey gets all the good roles in Yu Zheng's dramas bcos they have an...ahem...special relationship). FSF's eyes annoyed me soooo much in MRXJ.

Anyway, I feel sorry for Kevin that the Hongkongers are giving him such grief over breaking up with Charmaine Sheh. I mean it's someone's personal life, so what? Sux when your relationship is public property. I think that's why Hu Ge said in a recent interview he prefers to have a gf outside the entertainment circle.

I'm hopeful YH will have more screentime since 13th is always listed after 4th/8th and before 14th in all the Bu Bu cast list. Also, he takes photos with the Nicky-LSS-Kevin trio, not Lin Geng Xin. However, I'm curious why they haven't announced Guo Xiao Ting's role or who's going to be playing Lu Wu (13th's main love interest).

Damian Lau is Liu Songren. Sorry, I always knew him as Liu Songren bcos Singapore dubs all HK series in Mandarin.

Read that 13th has the least no. of scenes among the princes in all the Baidu tieba discussions on Bu Bu (sorry, can't get round to reading a novel that is 3 volumes thick), but yet he's everyone's favourite character. E.g. Yelu Xie is lots of people's favourite character in Young Warriors altho he had less scenes than the Yangs.

Who knows how Tangren will play up or play down certain characters. I'm sure they want to be very different from Gong.

And yeah, I think Yu Zheng really got away with copying Bu Bu! But I'm looking forward to watching Gong on 2 Jan 2011. He's a real b*tch, but somehow I've always liked the feel and atmosphere of his productions.
