I read somewhere he did try to build his singing career in Taiwan in the late 1990s and released a Mandarin album there. But his main success has been in HK.

But YES! I much rather hear Kevin sing the theme. He has pretty good songs. I listened through Hu Ge's Blue Ray album at a CD shop - only 2 songs were good (Blue Ray and Fantasy Zhu Xian theme), the rest were mediocre/ho-hum.

The 卖身契 last June was a PR gimmick. He left after that.

Anyway, in one of Karen's tweets, YH had a farewell dinner with Karen and Tangren. They plan to reunite again only in 10 years time.

Last time I checked he hasn't sign with anyone yet. I think he wants some time to think things over and avoid another fiasco like with Tangren. I know he's been receiving a lot of offers though, including Ruby Lin's company and our own 4th (Nicky's) company.

A lot of artists don't have companies. Vicki Zhao, Liu Yifei, are just some of the major ones without management companies. It's a lot harder for someone like Yuan Hong who doesn't have the recognizable name that those two do, though. He also misses out a lot of dramas that companies make starring their own artists...

LOL yeah. Nicky is getting old. But he looks pretty hot for his age. You can't notice his wrinkles much unless he starts to smile or laugh. That's when all the wrinkles comes out. But OMG. I cannot wait to see this. I don't know how many times I watched the trailer and mv for Bu Bu Jing Xin. I even watched Jade Palace, because the wait for Bu Bu Jing Xin is so torturous for me. Is there a broadcast date yet for Bu Bu Jing Xin?

really? vicki doesnt have a company? for some reason i always thought she was under hua yi...oh well. hm thats interesting though..but yeah, i feel like for YH who isnt quite as well known, a management company would definitely help.

The article keeps saying it's a 3D movie. @.@ I thought it was just a very long commercial/short film, like last time's Fantasy Zhu Xian.

I honestly doubt the accuracy of this article though, because they mentioned the motionscan technology would be in the game (movie as well?). Motionscan is a very new technology that is being showcased soon in the upcoming video game L.A. Noire. You can take a look at what it is at this link:

Watch the video in the article. it's pretty cool. Either way, I just can't see them using Motionscan yet because:

a) it's fairly new, as in no other works is coming out yet except L.A. Noire.
b) looks expensive.

Not to mention the actor list looks pretty dubious. XD
Of course if Tangren is using it, that'll be very interesting. I certainly wouldn't mind to see what Chinese companies would do with such a technology.

SARFT apparently has ask broadcast stations (satellite ones anyways) to stop airing certain genre of dramas for three months: between the months of May - July. These genres include, detective, romance, time travel and ancient costumed dramas (what a broad category..=X). They want stations to specifically air "red themed" dramas that has to do with the CCP.

I'm not upset by the news, but it looks like BBJX may not air till after Summer since August will be way too packed.
