Back to somewhat related to the topic, so what kind of skill did Yellow Dressed Lady use against ZZR? It was said to be an orthodox version of 9YBGZ. Seems likely that it's Huang Shang's counter to the evil art?

There were three versions of this set of claw techniques.

The first one was probably the most famous, the Nine Yin White Bone Claws. These claw techniques were used by the enemies of Huang Shang and Huang Shang's younger brother was killed by a practitioner of this skill. Huang Shang recorded this type of martial arts, because he wanted to understand and to find a way to break it (to create a 'black star' arts).

Thinking about it, this introduces yet another plothole in the 3rd edition...

• HS explicitly said in the text of 9 yin that these two arts had killed his siblings.
• GJ had memorised the entire text of 9 yin word-for-word (and recited it verbatim during HYS's third test), which means that it would also include this passage.
• ZBT claimed that he had invented the martial arts that he was teaching to GJ.
• GJ was slow, but he would have to be completely brain-dead to not notice a passage saying that these martial arts were used to murder the creator's family! Since he thought ZBT created the martial arts, then that would imply that ZBT murdered his own family?
