Default Dragon Holy Cult and Duke of Mount Deer saga.

    Hi
In duke of mount deer. How strong is the dragon cult leader hong an tong?
In the novel did it say where he learn his martial arts from? How old he was? Is he in book n sword?

Also is the new book n sword any good? One that came out in 2008 or 09? How is book n sword n crimson sabre tied into duke of mount deer?

And in crimson sabre how come hu shan sect seem so powerful? Is crimson sabre suppose to be right after state of divinity?

In DOMD, Hong Antong would probably rank in the top 5. Not sure how old he is or where he learned his martial arts. He's not in B&S.

I haven't watched the new B&S but I only know it deviates very heavily from the novel. B&S does not have much connection with Crimson Sabre/DOMD. It takes place like 100 years after.

Crimson Sabre takes place after State of Divinity.

He should be #1, or perhaps share that position with the Old Turtle Man.

I'm no DOMD expert but I would have to say it goes:

Jiunan ≥ Gui Xinshu ≈ Hong Antong ≥ He Tishou

These are the "Greats" of DOMD so they should all be pretty close.

P.S. Yuan Chengzhi would rape them all.

Who's He Tishou? Is he the beggar clan guy who was watching over Chen Yuanyuan? I'm going by the 2008 adaptation here.

Where in DOMD did she appear? Beyond the first third, I only know of the story from adaptations, so novel details may escape me.

Jiunan is an arrogant woman who thinks she's very good, but she's not. She nearly got killed by half a dozen weak Tibetan monks, if it weren't for WXB helping her.

Hong Antong b1tch-slapped the strongest of those monks like he's nothing. Jiunan admitted to herself (when she and her disciples were chased by that Lama monk) that even if she weren't injured, she wouldn't easily win against him.

Gui Xinshu's much weaker wife and son took just a few stances to kill Wu Luqi, who's as good as other top fighters, like the Fat & Skinny Messengers of the Dragon Cult, Feng Xifan, Hu Yizhi etc. Gui Xinshu himself was even slightly better than Yuan Chengzhi (especially with inner power), who Jiunan admitted would be better than her.

Both of them would be a bit above Jiunan.
