I'm confident BBJX has a great script with Tong Hua in the script-writing team and Wallace would go for it based on the script. Now I wish he was 8th Prince instead of Kevin Cheng However, Wallace had to keep that lovely bowl hair and fringe for this doctor role, right? LOL. I remember Wallace Chung didn't want to shave his head as he needed his hair for his music album promos and MVs, so he turned down 4th Prince role.

It is indeed a challenge for male actors to play a role in the Qing dynasty. I remember Wallace Chung played such a role before. I can't remember which drama but it was a successful one. I guess he also didn't want to repeat playing a similar role again.

So what would Wallace be doing after finishing Inspire the Life? He was spotted in a Shanghai's dentist clinic and Nanjingxi Road having Hazendaz with 2 women on July 19th. He ordered the ice cream but didn't touch it (probably still hurt from the dental visit?). He was stopped by fans for autograph on Nanjingxi Road. Fans said his face is very small.

Director Chen Yanmin: The cast performed well. There were wonderful collision among them and they had brought many unexpected surprises. He said Wang Zhiwen played exceptionally well although this was the first them he played a surgeon with many terminology challenges. He remained calm and stable throughout the series. Chen also praised Wallace Huo that he had done his homework and prepared for the role play before every shooting. His acting is natural and appropriate to his role.

Wang Zhiwen: Playing a doctor is not all about putting on a white coat with an exhibition of well temperament, but also skillful in many medical terminologies and should reflect the ability and professionalism that a doctor should have. Wang said many stores relating to his role are touching as they have demonstrated professional integrity and glorious spirit. They have gained approval from the medical professions and he believes the audiences will love the stores as well.

Wallace Huo: Wang Zhiwen is my good acting teacher. Wallace said he has learnt many things from Wang which gave him a lot of inspirations to his acting performance. Wallace said it is important that a doctor tires to make a patient feeling safe. Every word that a doctor says should bring hope and happiness to the patient. This requires confidence and professionalism.

Li Chengru: I was touched by this drama and had been deeply involved. He believes his heartfelt interpretation of his role will bring surprises to the audiences.
