i tried to read angel and demons but i just couldnt really get into the book. i mean his other book was supposedly one of those u cant put down books but this book was one of those really hard to get into books. i thought it was going to one of the ones where as soon as u start reading it, it would just grab u in and not let go kind of like the Harry Potter series. not that i am comparing these books cuz one is more towards the teens and the other adults but yeah

I like Jeffrey Archer's books. Kane and Abel and the Prodigal Daughter are great reads.

i just finished reading the importance of being earnest by oscar wilde yesterday. very cute. i don't know what book i'm going to start next. just got a whole bunch from an old bookstore that was going out of business. hee hee, is this taking advantage of them?

I'm reading Marianne Curley's The Named (book 1 of the Guardians of Time trilogy), it's about a guy who works secretly to protect history by going back in the past to make sure everything happens accordingly because the Goddess of Chaos likes to go back in time to alter history in order to have alternative futures that would benefit her and so that she could rule the world and such and she has her own order of chaos and armies too. The main guy trains the girl as his apprentice to go on missions in the past and such and they all have at least two talents such as creating illusions, moving things with one's mind, healing and such but they're to keep them secret from mortal eyes. When they go back in time, the time is unmeasured so they could be gone one day and it would be one minute their time. In a nutshell, the author Marianne Curley is very talented and writes pretty well. The book has teenage characters however at my age, I think I can still enjoy it and anyone can enjoy it. You don't need to be a teenager to enjoy stories like this.

"The Named" is a very intriuging and suspenseful novel, a pageturner as well, told in narrative by both the main guy and girl and they take turns narrating the story by chapter and such.
