"The Quickie" by James Patterson and Michael Ledwigde

Very suspenseful book that will grab you and take you on a roller coaster ride. It has murder, sex, lies, and videotape.

A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka

Just started...but I find the expressions hilarious. Again, a book of dark humour...after How I become Stupid by Martin Page.

Atlantean, have you started on this series yet? I just finished reading Poison Study and it deals more with poison, politics, betrayal and other stuff with some talk of users of magic and people using magic. However, magic is not the main topic yet. I think its because the main heroine is still finding out about her heritage and magic, so the sequels will probably deal with it more.

The author has talent in writing and making things interesting. But I think the greatest downfall is her modern references that sorta looses its ancient setting appeal, you know? I think if she took the care to keep all the descriptions of things in the time setting that it is instead of blending a modern/periodic, it would flow better. Other than that, its a very easy read...you'll find yourself reading through hundreds of pages without feeling like you have. I consider it action-packed and had some suitable amount of romance without focusing it all on romance.

I'll read Magic Study and Fire Study soon.

Nope, I only got the e-book version, maybe try later to buy the book. However I just finish the Name Of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. Its a Harry Potter book for the adult. There is the Hogwarts (in the Book called the University), Snape (Hemme in the book) and Malfoy (Ambrose in the book). No separations of magic world like hogwarts.

The main baddie: ancient warrior turn demon called Heliax and his team called the death-eater - ooopss nope, people called them the Chandrian . In the first book, the Chandrian stay only in the background and the story focus more on the coming of age story of Kvothe (the HP of this book) and his time at the University learning to be an Arcanist - eventually the most powerful ever.

I just finished The Handsome Siblings by: Gu Long a few minutes ago. Some parts were dragged on too long but I really liked it. Su Ying is my favorite character. She is sooooooooooo cool!

It's hard to say without using the proper IPA. It's like Ko`elyo, but not quite. If you ever heard Ronaldinho pronounced properly, it's a little bit like that.

I'm reading Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen and I find Catherine and Henry very funny. It kind of reminds me of a Shakespeare comedy too. NA is such a short novel.
