    Currently reading:

Sophie's World- by Jostein Gaarder (also author of Solataire)
    The Rainbow-D.H Lawrence
    Candide-Voltaire
    Anna Karenina- Leo Tolstoy

By the way, have any one read Alice Sebold's novel- Lucky? (1999). If so is it good?

I believe that is her first novel-Her other novel The Lovely Bones is just amazing!

Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe - This is a very simple, but excellent book about the tragic fall of a "strong man" perpetuated by his own weakness(which, ironically, was his fear of appearing weak) as well as the white people's spreading influence in Nigeria.
