How should we deal with forum SPAMmers?

I'm wondering if President Obama could lend us a hand and instruct those Navy SEALS who took down Bin Laden to do a similar job on the SPAMmers.

I already found a way on how to effectively prevent spammer to posts porn and ads long ago. However you need to be a PHP coder and the admin of your forum website. I dunno if vBulletin got this plugin already or not.

Almost all spammers are using [url] and [img] tag to posts url ads link and porn images etc. And most spammers are touch and go means they don't stay around. They register, posts, logout and never come back. So what I do is I set a minimum posts for all new members before [img] and [url] to be activated or can be used. Before they reach this minimum posts (5, 10 etc) they still can posts but they cannot posts links or images, so no harm done. Very effective in preventing all these buggers from posting annoying ads or obscene pix.

If I ever find these SPAMmers, I will saw off each of their limbs very slowly with a dull knife. I will then dip the still bleeding stumps of their wounds into the most toxic, virulent, and corrosive stew of biological and chemical substances known to humankind (perhaps some combination of Ebola, HIV, monkey feces, and assorted acids). After listening to them scream for a few hours, I will rip out their tongues and abandon them on the streets, hopefully so that people will throw sympathy money at them. I will then collect this money and send it to SC to acquire more anti-SPAM tools for SPCNET.

I feel the pain of the mods. Probably a significant amount of their moderation goes to deleting spam, blocking spammers. It will only get worse.

The SPAMmers deserve it and then some.

Come to think of it, I was *still* too merciful. I wrote that I should "dip" their still raw wounds in that toxic stew. That's wrong. I should *marinate* their wounds in that toxin for a few weeks. Then, while they're wasting away from deterioration on their sick beds, I will give them no peace, but constantly taunt them with looped recordings that mock them for having wasted their lives posting SPAM on people's forums.

Physical *and* psychological torture for the SPAMmers.
