I'm a late-bird to this show. There's already a Part 2 coming, and I've only seen an epi of Part 1. Just bought the dvd set the other week and finally got it in the mail this Monday. I've seen Kevin Cheng a few times, but felt there was always something left wanting in his acting. He improved in Last One Standing opposite Roger Kwok, but not enough to put him in the spotlight for me. I still have my reserves about him, but saw that he improved by leaps and bounds in Bu Bu Jing Xin, so thought, okay, hmm, I'll give him another try.

Also the big plus factor for me is - oddly enough - Sam Lee. I saw him in Ping Pong (2002), a Sorimachi film based on one of my favorite comics by Taiyo Matsumoto. Thought he did great.

I know what you meant about his past acting--distant and unconnected with his character. Before watching Ghetto Justice and BBJX I was never a fan of Kevin and any thing related to him such as his news/ series never intrigue me. Since I always thought he was a mediocre actor before, therefore I never really pay attention to him, but after watching these two shows I was infatuated and in love with Kevin. His acting and his charisma. He has cast a spell on me lol. Kevin in buisness suit in Ghetto Justice is to drool and died for. He is super hot! I come here everyday to see new pictures of Kevin. Lots of love <3<3. Thank you for all the updates.

^ Yup, add me to the list too! I have always liked Kevin, but I used to consider his acting mediocre at best. Nothing that I would call amazing. Even when he won for best actor for his role in Under the Canopy of Love, I thought it was totally TVB producers playing favorites.

But boy oh boy, he was so totally awesome in BBJX and GJ. I can hardly wait for GJ 2 to finish filming

Agreed. I dislike watching Under the Canopy of Love because I always thought it was chessy and I hated watching niki since she a bad actress. I admitted the only good thing about the show was kevin even before I was interested in him. I going be honest Im glad niki and kevin broke up never thought they look together. Charmaine/Kevin or Myolie/Kevin look way better together and their acting is so natural when compare to niki over exaggerated acting.

Can't wait for GJ 2 just to see more kevin.

I agreed. I hated the show, Under the Canopy of Love, I thought it was chessy and I hated watching niki horrible acting. The only good thing about the show was kevin even way before I was infaturated with him. I have to be honest I glad niki and kevin broke up I never thought they look good together. Charmaine/Kevin or Myolie/Kevin look way better together and their acting is natural when compared to niki over exaggerate acting.

It's not just this thread. Other threads are not very active as well. Many current members have congregate over to the Mainland series threads. Spcnet just does not have that many gushing fangirls

Watching mainland series seem to be the new trend, I see. Im still prefer tvb since I prefer watching familiar faces. Recent series with bad script/acting from the new generation of actors make it a little more difficult to stay faithful to tvb. But I still excited when an actor or actress I have watched over the year lead a series. Can't wait for kevin new series GJ 2 and the king boxer (half naked= hot).

Hong Kong celebrities Bosco Wong and Myolie Wu had been seeing each other for the past seven years.

In recent years, the pair seemed to be more open about their relationship. Not only did Myolie tease Bosco for having a short tongue during TVB's anniversary celebration, the couple also supported each other during their acceptance speech at the annual TVB awards.
Previously, it was reported that Bosco even gave Myolie an apartment.

While the couple claimed that they do not have the intention to marry yet, the media spotted Bosco and Myolie at a traditional Chinese medicine clinic three days ago.

It is believed that the doctor there is well-known for his expertise in gynaecology. His previous clients include Kenix Kwok, Ada Choi and other celebrity mums.

It was speculated that Myolie made an appointment with the doctor beforehand, because there were no other patients in sight.

When the doctor checked the actress's pulse, the media heard her saying that she had been feeling dizzy lately, with the urge to throw up. The doctor advised Myolie to "eat and rest more, reduce your workload, but to exercise more and drink more soup. It's good for both the adult and baby".

Before she left, Myolie was given herbal tea, which was said to promote better blood circulation. The actress then took a cab home to rest.

"Myolie's parents had been rushing the pair to get married, but she's too career-minded and wanted to work a couple more years. They'd been very careful not to get pregnant. However, it's not surprising that she conceived, since they appear to be very much in love with each other," an insider revealed.
