I can't really compare to those series since the last tvb series I've watched was "The Rippling Blossom". The first episode just aired last night. I thought it was funny and entertaining. Kevin Cheng did well with the dead pan humor. Kevin's unhygienic character is refreshing. My favorite moment was when Kevin's character "L.A. Law" was spitting cherry seeds into the trash can with his friends in public and accidentally got a cherry seed on Myolie's character "Wong si-fu's" shirt. They got into a mini-argument. It was amusing. Myolie's character in here is similar is to her role in "Survivor's Law" except she's more arrogrant and ambitious.

Enjoyed the first episode - hope Kevin gets to improve his acting ability in this one as I am typically not fond of his flower vase ways. I LOL'd at the opening scene when the newspaper vendor thinks he is lazy unemployed youth and tries to refer him to a parttime house cleaning job.

Just watched episode 2 on tudou. The series is starting to pick up and get more intense with the murder case. You also get flashbacks as to why L.A. Law is why he is currently. L.A. Law(Kevin) is hilarious with his unhygienic ways. He shows up at the waiting room of the court room asleep with his shirt untucked and his breath smelled. Inside the courtroom, something smelled again and it turned out to be mothballs inside his jacket pocket.

Why not? After watching the first episode, her character seems promising? I think Myolie is one of the best TVB actresses portraying a lawyer. She was great in Survivor's Law.

I just finished watching the first episode and I must say I love Myolie's ambitious character a lot. I also enjoy her scenes with Mandy Wong. Although Kevin isn't too convincing and into character yet, it's still nice to see him as someone else other than the usual perfect Prince Charming he plays.

I like the light hearted moments outside the courtroom/cases. It's refreshing and a nice break from the case. I like the F4(Sam Lee, Jazz Lam, Kevin Cheng & Eddie Kwan) in this series. They are so hilarious together. It was funny how Jazz Lam and Sam Lee's character was moving the Satellite to help Kevin's(L.A. Law) cell phone reception.
