Default Wai Siu Bo's weaponry - artifacts from CONDOR HEROES TRILOGY era?

Wai Siu Bo, not being much of a martial artist, was dependent on his weapons and equipment to get by (sort of like Batman and his utility belt). Some of his most frequently used items, however, seem to be reminiscent of (if not directly passed down from) the CONDOR HEROES TRILOGY era.

    1. The flesh-dissolving acid that he got from Eunuch Hoi was invented by West Poison Au Yeung Fung.

    2. The armored vest he got from Obai's stash of stuff was reminiscent of Wong Yung's old armored vest, though it lacked the sharp spines that provided an offensive capability.

    3. The sharp dagger from Obai's stash seemed to have similar properties to the Heaven Sword and the Dragon Sabre.

    2) the vest apparantly appeared in Sword stained with Royal Blood. It also does not have the spikes WY vest had. And I'm pretty sure WY's vest can withstand weapons

    3) I've ready somewhere that the dagger would be a piece of the broken Heavenly Sword. The Dragon sabre was reforged in HDSD.

Default Did Wai Siu Bo inherit a number of CONDOR HEROES TRILOGY artifacts?

Reviving this topic for new discussion.

Three weapons that Wai Siu Bo gained possession over not long after he first began working as a eunuch in the Qing imperial court included the corpse-dissolving acid, a highly resilient defensive vest, and a hard, sharp dagger that could cut through almost anything.

Are all three of these legacy items from the CONDOR HEROES TRILOGY era?

    1. The corpse-dissolving acid was heavily implied to have been an invention of West Poison Au Yeung Fung, and indeed, AYF did use several poisons that caused flesh and bones to dissolve (such a poison killed Yeung Hong in LOCH).

    2. The protective vest was similar in function to Wong Yung's famous defensive vest, minus the offensive spikes. Could this have been a prototype version that East Heretic Wong Yerk See had made before he made the one that Wong Yung wore? Perhaps it might have been a second vest that WYS had been putting together, but for various reasons never completed?

    3. The properties of the dagger are reminiscent of the Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre. Could the dagger have been made from a fragment of one of those weapons?
