Ooh, I love his cheeky expression here! And he looks actually quite lean here, with no hints of the pasty whiteness that lies underneath, as unearthed from Gong.

Somehow I feel his publicist/stylist should have given him a jacket to pad out his shoulders and make them look broader though.

Since I'm not current on the Asian male attraction spectrum, can anyone tell me if the effeminate look is still in?

Some really nice photos of FSF here! Great lighting to make his skin look fresh, and some highlights/shadowing constrast to emphasise his jawline. I've noticed sometimes FSF seem too round and rather soft in the wrong lighting.

I think FSF has always looked rather thin throughout most of his career except for Gong. He said he had to gain 20-30 lbs within a month for the role of the 8th Prince because the producers complained he looked too thin to be a royal prince. After Gong, he lost it all again. Now i feel like he looks even thinner than before and his face looks a bit too elongated sometimes...

JOLECOLE i wish he didnt lose all of the weight..i mean he thin but still cute but i perfer some fat in him lol....wow gaining 20-30 lb in one month is crazy he should've lost only half not all...

JoleCole, the pics of his dog aren't showing up! I'm really interested though. I never knew he had a dog before!

(Also, minor thing but could someone edit the title to "William"? Just a pet peeve of mine when names are spelled wrong in thread titles! Even though I prefer just calling him FSF because I don't really like the name William, lol... XD)

Edit: Adding a few movie stills. People mentioned that he kind of looks like Nic Tse a bit (i.e. YM's "idol/crush" lol) in these 2 shots, and I have to say that was my initial impression too! XD (Not as hot as Nic of course but the resemblance is there...Must be the hair and tanned skin, I prefer this look over his recent Gong and MRXJ looks.)





And because I kinda feel bad that FSF is getting a reputation of being "fat" around here due to being forced to gain all that weight in Gong...here is a pic of a skinnier, more tanned FSF: (he actually looks skinnier now than back then, I guess he's been overworking himself lately)

Unfortunately, I heard the poor pup died shortly after a year or two. I tried to ask his hardcore fans who knew what happened, but no one wanted to talk about it. I guess it was really bad?

I think FSF is pretty funny in his writing. I really enjoyed reading his comments. He also wrote two blogs about QC and 8th Prince in Gong. Really cute!

Awww, his dog is so adorable. I don't even like animals but those pics make me want to buy a dog just like his! I can only imagine how awful it was when he passed away...I think YM should buy him another dog as a present and they can both raise it together! (Well, maybe later, they are both way too busy now to care for a pet.)

While I would most definitely prefer a toned 8th prince...I can kind of see why they did it--back in the days rich people were much better fed and being on the "fatter" side is a sign of wealth/good upbringing. Most of the paintings of royalty/noble people showed them to not be skinny. So they probably thought a skinny FSF would come off as a poor guy instead of a prince. But heck, this is a TV show, who needs reality!! The rich women back then weren't skinny back then either but look at all the actresses (even the famously "fat" beauty Yang Gui Fei was played by a skinny FBB recently).

Just read his blog posts! First of all, his little puppy looks sooooo cute, and FSF just got him in 2009?? I can't believe he's no longer here...in such a short time period...it really sounds like it was a tragedy. It was so touching to read about how FSF brought the puppy home and kept him...and how they were such good friends even though FSF was always away filming.

Thankfully I read those two before reading the hilarious Gong posts! Lmao at him inventing real-life adventures for himself and YM based on a few stills. Are there more of these? FSF did say "to be continued..." at the bottom of the second one.
