Sexy heroine' helps the poor in HK



A woman - clad in a black sexy outfit and wearing a mask - has been making her appearance at the underprivileged areas in Hong Kong.

The 'sexy heroine' was seen distributing food and cash to the poor, especially to those living in 'cage homes'. She usually turns up at night.

The woman has refused to disclose her identity, saying that she wanted to remain a mystery.

She calls herself 'Hongkong Flower'.

Explaing her actions, she said it was a form of protest against the government's failure to eradicate hardcore poverty.



There has been speculation that the woman is Wan Baobao, a granddaughter of Wan Li, a former leader of China.

In an e-mail to the Oriental Daily, she did not confirm nor deny the rumours.

"I can only say that my background is similar to Wan Baobao and my family is well-known in Hong Kong."

"I want to hide my identity because I don't want the people to think that I'm doing this to seek publicity," she wrote, adding that she was a businesswoman and was still single.

She said although she was from a well-to-do family, she had seen too many people suffer financially and wanted to help them.

The heroine has also set up a Facebook account and her ID is 'Hongkong Flower'.
