The trailer is so good! I am looking forward to this series.

Wow! Well, I'm sold! The first few seconds on the trailer where there's quick shots seem like a horror tv series at first, then next couple minutes is about a daughter coming into the palace to find out who killed her mother, Princess Yi Dan (who's the Dowager Empress' daughter and is sister to the current Emperor). I'm confused Liu HanXiang is siblings with Kevin Cheng's role? Like half-siblings? The crown prince seem to like her or is protective of her, so they cousins? Cousins can marry cousins back then.

Well, it has all the elements that I like, I'm definitely looking forward to watching this series once it comes out.

Synopsis

A drama about the court conspiracies and politics between the royal wives, princes, and officials during the reign of Kang Xi.
When Princess Yi Dan fell with her brother, Emperor Kang Xi, in a night of passion, she left the palace out of remorse and guilt. She gave birth to Han Xiang and was murdered by a mastermind. Han Xiang grew up and entered the palace as a maid in search of her roots and her mother's murderer. There, she became entangled in the palace's conflicts and competition. I think Princess YiDan and Prince Lie (Eddie Cheung) were lovers and cousins, but somehow she fell pregnant to someone else and gave birth to Hanxiang. Prince Lie went on and had Ge Tai (Kevin). I think they were just implying that because of their parent's closeness, there is a chance that Prince Lie could be Han Xiang's birth father as well and this make Ge Tai and Hanxiang half-siblings.

I think Princess Yidan's father and Kangxi's father were brothers so it makes them cousins (though considered siblings as same paternal surname). Really confusing story. I would want to learn how everything turns out but I am afraid that the plot may be bad.

Oi vey! Too much complications with family relations and possibility for incest in this story, unless Princess Yi Dan had relations with another man and her father was an outsider. This is predicting complicated and forbidden love story. Don't expect the ending to be nice and happy.

Hahaha! Well, picture is one thing, but actually seeing it up close and onscreen in a series is a different thing. So many times, I saw Nicky Wu in BBJX and you can see up close that he has pores and stuff.

wait so according to the synopsis the main girl mother slept with her own brother and gave birth to her ? does that mean kevin is her half brother ? that's pretty gross if that was the case. as much as i want to watch the series don't think i want to watch a drama with main leads falling in love with their siblings. also main lead girl isn't pretty at all. i tend to watch dramas with pretty people. lol shallow me

looks like there's action in this series!! however, i think whoever is dressing the casts likes bright colours alot...especially colours that clash!!!
