hi, this is the 1st time i've read your fan fictions. It's so good!!! I especially like the 1st few chapers with the two children. For some reason, i just love reading or watching puppy love between children. The chapters after taht were a little confusing for me though. Chapter 9 The Black Ice Sword

Tuyen Huyen (Jessica Hsuan) walk hurrily to the main hall of the Black Widow Castle. She push the huge black doors open forcefully and step in.

All eyes turn toward Tuyen Huyen curiously. The main hall was fill with people. However, there were only women. Absolutely no men.

All of the girls wore a black gown with a black veil covering their faces.

However, a girl who stood beside the throne wear a light yellow gown. On her neck is a spider necklace. The black crystal spider hang on her neck eerily.

A lady sat on a black throne and stare at Tuyen Huyen.

Even though she was already 67 years old, Black Widow still look as beautiful as when she was still a teenager. The only thing that give it away was her long white hair.

Unlike the other girls, she wore a dark purple gown with white markings.

Tuyen Huyen kneel down and cup her hand, "Long live Cung Chua (sect leader)," she said.

Black Widow motion for the other girls to leave. They bow and exit in silence. The girl in yellow remain standing beside the throne.

"So did you kill them?" Black Widow ask, her voice soft but stern.

"Yes, Cung Chua." Tuyen Huyen reply.

"Where is his head?"

Tuyen Huyen brought out a white package. She open it and a bloody head roll out. Its eyes bulge out in shock.

"Good," Black Widow nod her head and said, "Tuyen Huyen, here is your next mission. I want you and Cung Nhu (Kristy Yang) to go to Hoa Son (Fire Mountain) and stop Old Man Zhao from throwing the Black Ice Sword into the volcano. Bring that sword back to me.Kill anyone who get in the way. Understand?" Black Widow instructed her two bestest students.

"Cung Chua, why is that sword so important?" Tuyen Huyen ask.

"Usually, I don't answer questions but this will be an exception. The Black Ice Sword is a very powerful sword. It was said that whoever possess it will be the ruler of mo lam. Legend has it that the Black Ice Dragon Sword was made by the Sword God Long. He went to the top of the Snow Lotus Mountain to get the ice. He put a snow lotus inside the sword. One day, lightning accidentally struck the sword. For some reason, it slowly turn black. However, Sword God find its power to be even stronger than before. Before you know it, the sword was breaking havoc in mo lam. Many people fight with eachother to get it, causing many innocent people to die," Black Widow pause as if she was thinking about something, she shake off her thoughts and continue, "Sword God realize he have made a mistake so he quickly went to Fire Mountain to throw it down the volcanoe. That was the only place where the sword could be destroy. However, the sword suddenly turn on him as if it have a life of its own. The undestrutable Sword God finally die under the hand of the sword. The sword was then pass down the hands of many people before it finally dissappear. Nobody hears of it again until six months ago. The sword finally reappear in the hands of Old Man Zhao. That stupid old crook then decide to throw it down the volcanoe. That's why I want you and Cung Nhu to go and retrieve it for me." Black Widow finish up her story.

"Cung Chua, I can do this by myself. I need no help." Tuyen Huyen said and took a glance at the girl in yellow.

"No, this mission is far too dangerous for you to go alone. Old Man Zhao's martial arts is not to be underestimated. Even I have to loose to him in battle. What make you think you can beat him and retrieve the sword without help?" Black Widow said angrily.

"But..."

"No buts, now, Cung Nhu," Black Widow turn to the girl in yellow standing next to her and said, "I want you and Tuyen Huyen to go right away. We have no time to loose."

"Yes, Cung Chua." Tuyen Huyen and Cung Nhu both bow respectively and then walk out of the main hall.

Black Widow wave her arm and in a flash, she was gone.

Chapter 10 The Fight For The Sword

Tuyen Huyen (Jessica Hsuan) and Cung Nhu (Kristy Yang) hid behind a tall bushes while observing the two men below.

An Tuan (Vincent Jiao) look up, all he could see was row of trees and bushes. There were nobody there. However, he have a feeling that someone is watching them.

Quicken their steps, An Tuan and his mentor hurried pass a farmer. The farmer look back at their retreating backs and pull out a small knife from his sleeve.

The farmer dash toward An Tuan, attempting to stab him. However, An Tuan dodge and trip the farmer.

The farmer fall flat on the ground. An Tuan and his mentor took the chance to get away.

Suddenly, flying projectiles flew toward the two men. They use their swords to ward off the projectiles. The flying objects flew to a tree, instead.

Two girls dress in pink and blue somersault down from a tree and started attacking the two men. Their faces were covered with a veil saved for their eyes. It stare at the two men coldly.

An Tuan try to dodge the oncoming sword from the girl dress in pink. It was not an easy task, however. The sword continue to lash out at him, each moves meant to kill. An Tuan was getting worn out. He was playing defense rather than attacking his opponent. He just can't bring himself to hit a girl.

The girl in blue clash her sword with the old man's sword. She brought her left palm forward. Focusing her internal energy to her palm, she hit the old man causing him to be thrown backward.

"See fu (mentor)!!!" An Tuan yell out as his mentor fall down and spit out blood.

The farmer, who have been watching the fight the whole time, took off his disguise. A girl wearing purple with a purple veil covering her face now stood where the farmer had been.

Seeing the chance, she leap toward the now unsconsious old man and snatch the box that he have been holding out of his hand. She open the box and took out a black sword.

An Tuan somersault over to his mentor and shook his body. He notice his teacher's hand has turn icy cold. An Tuan feel his pulse, there were none.

"See fu, see fu!!!" An Tuan shout, he jump toward the three girl to get back the sword.

An Tuan kick the sword right out of the girl's hand. The girl clutch her hand in pain and leap after the sword.

The sword was flying in midair when a man appear and grab it. He then flew away.

The girl in purple try to go after him but An Tuan jump out and block her path.

Tuyen Huyen and Cung Nhu jump out of their hiding place in the bush and flew after the mysterious man.

[COLOR=blue]The mysterious man slow down after making sure that he wasn't followed. He breathe out in relief.

Suddenly, something flew pass him and scratch his hand. It then flew to a tree, causing leaves from the branches to flew down. He drop the sword and look at the flying object. It was a red rose.

The man look back at his hand, it was bleeding intensely. He clutch his hand to stop the bleeding. However, blood continue to seep out.

Tuyen Huyen and Cung Nhu jump down from a tree. The man eyed them cautiously.

"The tip of that rose have been dip in the most deadly poison, I suggest you hand over the sword now and I will spare your life." Tuyen Huyen said coldly.

The man scoff.

"If you want to die then so be it." Tuyen Huyen said and aim her sword straight at the man.

The man step to the left to dodge the move. Tuyen Huyen continue to attack him with her sword.

A feminine figure appear and threw small needles at the three. It then grab the sword laying on the ground and flew away. Cung Nhu dodge the projectiles and went after the newcomer.

Tuyen Huyen, however, was unaware of the projectiles. She continue to attack the man ferociously.

As the projectiles flew straight toward them, the man move out of the way and yell, "Watch out!!!"

Tuyen Huyen turn around only to see several needles coming toward her. She try to dodge but it was too late, the needles pierce her body and she fell to the ground.

Meanwhile,

Cung Nhu have caught up with the unknown figure. The figure turn around and threw something at her.

Thousands of poisonous scorpions flew toward Cung Nhu. She slash them with her sword but it was no use. Their strangely hard shells act as a shield for them against her attacks.

They bouce off her sword and jump toward her again. A scorpion, slightly biggger than the rest, bite Cung Nhu's wrist. She immediately fell to the ground, unconscious.

Two men appear and carry the unconscious Cung Nhu away.

The girl in purple kick An Tuan in the stomach. She press two of his pessure points and he fall to the ground, unconscious.

"Jie (big sister, in this case, martial sister), why didn't you kill him?" Truong Dinh (Zhang Ting), the girl in pink ask curiously.

"He might know the whereabouts of the Black Ice Sword. Those three people earlier must have been his friends. We can't kill him yet." the girl in purple reply.

"What should we do with him then?" Kha Doanh (Kenix Kwok), the girl in blue ask

"It's getting dark, let's find a shelter for tonight and then we will question him." the girl in purple reply while walking away, the other two follow her while carrying an unconscious An Tuan.

The sun slowly set and then night came.

The three stop in front of an abandon manor. They step in and set An Tuan on the ground.

They sense someone behind them but when they turn around, nothing was there. Suddenly, they heard a sound of a zither.

The three girls step outside where the sound is coming from. However, there were nobody outside.

"Who are you?! Don't hide like a cowards! Show yourself!" Kha Doanh yell out.

They all wait for a reply. The zither have stop playing. It was silence again.

Another sound started. This time, it was like a moaning of a ghost.

"What is that sound?" Truong Dinh ask while looking around worriedly.

"It's probably just an owl." the girl in purple said, trying hard to calm herself and the others down.

"It's sound more like a....a...ghost." Kha Doanh mutter in fear.

"Stop talking nonsense, there are no such things as ghosts!" the girl in purple shouted.

A white shadow rush pass them and dissappear.

"It is a ghost!!!" Truong Dinh scream, her face show fear.

Two needles flew straight toward Kha Doanh and Truong Dinh's forehead. They fall down. The girl in purple look up.

A figure wearing completely white appear in front of her. The girl in purple kneel down and cup her hand, "Long live Mistress." she said.[/COLOR]

Okay, finally I have time to read. I have been busy with home improvement. Another project finished but now we are working on the deck....geesh. Anyhow, I wanted to say "Whoa! The story is getting so intriguing!" Your story is filled with so much action pack, fighting sequences! More killing!!! jk

Chapter 12 A New Beginning

Cung Nhu slowly open her eyes and try to sit up. She eyed the place she is in groggily. It was a small comfy room with a portrait of a beautiful lady hanging on the wall.

As Cung Nhu made eye contact with the lady in the portrait, a pain suddenly erupt in her head. She grab her head and scream out as all of her memories were erased.

"Who am I? Where am I?" the brainwashed Cung Nhu mutter silently.

The door suddenly open as Cung Nhu continue to mutter those two questions. She try to remember but her mind just went blank.

A handsome man in his early twenties enter the room and sat down at the bedside.

The man (Kenny Ho) took Cung Nhu's hand in his and ask worrily, "Nhu muoi (little sister, not related in this case), how are you feeling now? Are you okay?"

Cung Nhu look into the man's sincere eyes and suddenly smile. She felt a wave of warmth and closeness crept up on her when she look at the man's face.

"I'm fine..." Cung Nhu silently answer, "Who am I? Do you know who I am? That portrait...head hurt...then....blank..." she mumble as her eyes suddenly glow white then back to its original color. She grab hold of her head as it start to hurt again.

"You better rest, I'll explain everything to you tomorrow. It's late, rest," the man said and help Cung Nhu lay down on her bed. He drape the blanket over her and blew out the candle. The room suddenly grew dark. The man walk out and close the door behind him.

Cung Nhu lay there, holding the blanket tightly over herself. She slowly close her eyes and drift into unconsciousness.

That night, Cung Nhu dreamt of a woman dress in purple, a young expressionless girl, a sword made out of ice. Then, everything went blank. Her dreams shirfted to herself falling down a tree and went unconscious....

Short chapter today, I have to go somewhere so that all I could write for today.

Chapter 13 Memories

The girl in purple kneel down and greet her mistress politely. The figure in white (Anita Yuen) wave her hand and the girl in purple stood up.

"Mistress, what are you doing here?" the girl in purple ask.

"What I'm doing here is none of your business. Don't ever call me mistress again. I'm not your mistress." the figure in white reply coldly.

"Why won't you go back to master? Do you know he's very worry about you?!"

"Don't speak of him in front of me!!! He is not worry about me! He only care about himself!!"

"If he doesn't care about you, then why do he have to send me to follow you?!"

"If you wish to live and see the daylight tomorrow, then don't follow me," the figure in white said coldly and flew away.

The girl in purple quickly bend down to her two female companions and examine them. She hit the back of their heads with her palm and two needles shoot out.

Truong Dinh (Zhang Ting) and Kha Doanh (Kenix Kwok) slowly regain consciousness. They blink a few time and then look around groggily.

"Go back to master and said that I have found mistress. I will be following her alone. I will also try to find the whereabout of the Black Ice Sword on the way," the girl in purple told the two girls and then flew after the figure in white.

Tuyen Huyen (Jessica Hsuan) slowly open her eyes. She couldn't see anything except for darkness. She lean against the tree behind her and try to stand up.

All Tuyen Huyen could remember was needles piercing through her body and she fell down. She look down at her wound to see it have been bandaged.

"Who have helped me? Was it that man?" Tuyen Huyen ask herself.

Using the tree for support, Tuyen Huyen slowly try to find a way to go back to Black Widow Castle.

The sun slowly rises higher and higher. The sunlight shine throught all of the houses, waking up the people who are still asleep.

The streets soon got more crowded and noisy.

Two men walk into the busy town joyfully. One man, judging from the way he dresses, seem to be very rich. The other man dresses in servant clothings as he trail after his young master.

The man wearing rich clothing look around the streets and mutter to himself, "It sure have not changed. Nothing has changed,"

"Thieu gia (young master), let's find an inn to rest in," the servant said to his master.

"You can go ahead, I need to go somewhere. Meet you back at the largest restaurant in town," the young master said and left hurriedly.

The master made his way to a forest, he look around as if searching for something. After knowing the thing he is searching for isn't here, the man heave a sigh.

"How can I expect her to still be here waiting for me? I have broken my promise to her," the man said to himself.

He look around at the place where he spent most of his childhood at. This was the place where he spent his happiest times at, and also the saddest times.

The man touch a tree and read the sloppy writings on it. It was obviously wrote by a child, the writings is rather hard to read because of erosions. It says:

Thien Lac and Tuyen Huyen

There was a heart around the words.

The man walk forward, trees disappear to be replace with a flower garden. Memories flooded into his minds.

A little girl was tending to his wounds from a fight he had with a boy. He remember binding the flowers into a crown and place it on the girl's head.

"I'm the king and you're my queen,"

That was what he told her. He said he's going to make her his queen but as fate would have it, he have to leave her.

The man sigh.

He remember watching the fireworks with her as they fell asleep in eachothers' arms.

"I wonder where is she now? What is she doing? I hope she is happy," the man said and walk back to town.
