Slim body, big head.... how to change it?

the title says it all. My body is pretty slim, but I have a big head/face that is kinda disproportional with my body. I want to shrink down the head/face so that it matches my body. Recently I started eating less and lost some weight on my tummy, but the big head/face remains unchanged

How can I target the face area for weight loss?

Do you have like a wide jawline or facial structure? Or is it all muscle or fat? The former you can't change unless it's done surgically, and the latter is probably through weight loss or cardio exercise.


I think you can talk with your hairstylist and see how you can cut/style your hair so your face looks smaller or compliment your jaw line. It's all in the way you either grow out or cut/style your hair.

Because I don't think you can make your head smaller, only make it *look* smaller.

I do read it in some medical magazine. What one person did is to increase his height (long surgery + recovery period). Then put on some weight. The body becomes more proportional.

Anyway, nobody is perfect. So, accept yourself.

you can't change the face structure/size, but you should change your walk. walk with your upper body tilted back so that it gives the illusion of you having a smaller head since it is farther away while the body remains closer to the observer.

Well, when I was younger (up till 21 years old), my face was much longer vertically. For some reason after that, it evolved into a round shape, and it won't go away.

No, you don't. You're slim and your face is right for you. I don't think its chubby. Probably better to have a round face than a squarish and broad jawline.

HAHAHA i meant, long hair to frame the face/make it appear slimmer. that's the trick with girls... u think they have a nice oval face but lo and behold, their long hair covers the roundness. hahahaha

Guys can look totally different with different hairstyle. Cesare is right. You look say Brad Pitt, sure he got that broad jawline (and to some women/men he's good looking still), but if you look at his hairstyles through out the years from short short/buzz cut/spikey, medium, and even long hair (during his younger days) and you look at his face...the hairstyles ---it totally makes a difference in how his head/face looks.

Why don't you try to bulk up [not fat] in order for the body to look more proportionate?
