Thumbs down wuxia fiction forum dying ...

Sigh, what happen to the wuxia fiction forum? Not much activity, everyone's getting overly busy? It almost seem like a dead forum.

Well, the fan-fic forum has been dead for ages as well! at least PJ and co comment every now and then in the Wuxia Fiction section.

What shall we discuss? something like "Three years have passed, have your hatred for YG remained the same?"; Or "Three years have passed. Who will you want ZWJ to marry this time? Is the answer different from that three years ago?"

How about discussing authors that are - um - not Jin Yong? ;-p

It seems that people are less interested in discussing works by Gu Long, Liang Yusheng, Huang Yi, and currently popular Internet wuxia authors like Cang Yue. To be fair, I find it harder to come up with thought-provoking questions about non-JY works, especially since many of them remain untranslated.

Maybe we can start a book club on the translated books. And discuss it as we go.

    All things die eventually.

Some are able to reinvent/rejuvenate themselves after going downhill.

    It's the Circle of Life
    And it moves us all
    Through despair and hope
    Through faith and love
    Till we find our place
    On the path unwinding
    In the Circle
    The Circle of Life

Most other forums on this site are dying too.

Off Topic is the liveliest thanks to spammers.

On selfish way is to ask the initial members of wuxiasociety to come back here. Anyway, the website was set up because we the wuxia members need a place then.

umm, WuxiaSociety is more dead than here. They've only had about 10 discussion topics this year on Gu Long and Jin Yong combined.

Most wuxiasociety members go to both forums.
