Things seem to have happened quickly in succession, and this could be an excellent combination with the assassination attempt. So currently it's probably not more than 1 day after the assassination attempt.

Oh, he won't. Lightning doesn't strike the same place twice, and similarly, Cutie Pie doesn't use the same disguise twice, which is why I bugged GX to modify her post.

Crescent Moon Sabre: A skill that he learned from his mother. Named after the Crescent Lake.

Horse Riding: There may be no one in Pan better than him in riding skills.

Halberd: Being the son of a military general, Yi Quan has trained in many battlefield weapons. However, his weapon of choice when on horseback is the halberd.

Background:

Over twenty years ago, General Yi Weifang was assigned to defend and expand the Northwestern front of the Pan Kingdom. However, due to the long arduous journey to the northwest, he left his family in Luoyang. While in the northwest, he met a woman of Xiongnu descent. Together, they had a son. Because his father aspired for him to be a great military general one day, Yi Quan was named after his place of birth, Jiuquan (Wine Fountain), where the great Han General Huo Qubing had once poured wine into the creek to celebrate victory with his troops. General Yi’s hopes were not empty, as the Yi Quan had shown talent in martial arts even at a young age.

When Yi Quan was seven years old, Yi Weifang had earned enough battlefield merit that he requested to be transferred to closer to Luoyang to be closer with the rest of his family. However, despite the lavishness of Luoyang, Yi Quan had trouble adjusting to life in the city. He had loved riding horses on the steppes and desert, which was difficult in the crowded city of Luoyang. While the equine culture had spread from the western regions to all over Pan, Luoyang could not offer the same type of landscape.

As he grew older, Yi Quan began to stick around the military training grounds. When he reached the appropriate age, he joined the military. He had showed much talent and added to the fact that his father has become the new Marshal of Eastern Pan (everything east of Luoyang), he quickly rose amongst the ranks. At age 19, he volunteered to be stationed in the Northwest because he wanted to be in the open grasslands. Since most other soldiers would rather take a lower ranking position than be placed in the remote areas of othe Northwest, Yi Quan was awarded a high position. Within 2 years, he was promoted to Lieutenant General of Jiuquan.

However, due to the recent agreements with Xiwu, assassinations and call for relocation of troops, Yi Quan has been summoned back to Luoyang.

But unfortunately Huo Qubing died young, ironically due to illness. I hope Yi Quan has a better fate...
