Actually that's an undue worry on Huang Shi's part. Lu Xunzhao has only 30,000 troops compared to Huang Shi's 50,000. The other 30,000 Pan troops under Gen. Wen are currently tied down at the Ban Pass anyway.

Entire Pan standing army strength is 300,000
50,000 reserves to defend Pan itself

250,000 as the total expeditionary forces :
150,000 in the campaign against Xiang
100,000 against Donghai

Of the 100,000 :
30,000 under Gen. Lu
30,000 under Gen. Wen
20,000 to deliver supplies
20,000 to guard the supply lines

There are always more troops deployed at the sharp end than the blunt end in any army.

you know...xue qian doesn't really strike me as a jerk these days. has his rough adventures to date turned him into a more agreeable person? and boy do i have plans for wal-e once allen heals him.

And Xue Quan (what's his nickname again?) seems pretty scared of Jiancheng. Makes me wonder how Cutie Pie and Jueqing got along.

Not sure if he's actually scared of Jiancheng or not, but maybe there's a certain degree of revolted feeling? Jiancheng really isn't likeable. :X

I will post a bit more tonight. If you folks happen to post beforehand, please do not accelerate hy- plague's relationship. They do no like each other at this point. Hy does not know if she is an honest person as plague has been hiding her identity and plague has reasons for not wishing to be in any relationship now.
